Today the #100 Card Sketch was posted. I had to try it out.

I couldn’t help myself and had to use the colors from the Beach Squash book and the flower from the Post it note holder. I am kinda stuck on those. I also had to try my new May Arts ribbon. I resisted these gorgeous ribbon as long as I could. But enough is enough. I had to have some and ordered them from Starlitstudio. Cindy is the best!

I think Michelle Wooderson or Lana Lepinski came up with this idea. I think it’s really cute and I had to make one myself. These are super easy.

Take a 3 1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock and score at 5″, 5 1/2″ and 6″. Corner round all four corners, punch the handles and decorate. Make two punchouts with the Window Word punch out of a magnetic sheet. Tape at the ends of the cardstock. It will keep your Post it note holder closed.

After making several coaster mini books, I am trying to come up with different ways to use those wonderful coasters. Here I made them into a Squash/Explosion Album. I like how that sounds. Squash books. My daughter Rebecca, loves how it folds. It’s a fun little album.

To make it first cover your coasters with designer paper. I prefer Modge podge as adhesive. You can also use mono or any other type of glue. Next cut three pieces of cardstock to 7 1/2″ squares. Score them in half horizontally, vertically and once diagonally. Prefold each score at least once.

Lay out your cardstock squares so that they overlap with one scored square section. The middle cardstock piece has to have the diagonal fold going down, the outer cardstock pieces have to have the diagonal fold going up. Tape them together. I used Sticky Tape. Decorate your individual squares and triangle pieces. Then tape your cardstock to your coasters. Tie together with a ribbon. Decorate the front.
