I missed stamping! This morning I visited Amy Westerman’s blog to check out her newest Sunday’s Sketch. I love Amy’s blog and her sketches are a wonderful inspiration.

I got out two pieces of My Mind’s Eye patterned paper I bought just three days ago in San Antonio. The paper “line” (is that what you call it?) is called Magnolia and it is sooooooo beautiful!  I rock n’ rolled the big flower from Looks Like Spring in chocolate chip and added more chocolate chip color on the side of the flower petals with my chocolate chip marker. I then stamped it on the turquoise/lime paper and cut it out.  The flower is layered on a 2 1/4″ pumpkin pie cardstock square. I had dragged it over my Ruby Red classic ink pad several times to make it more like that gorgeous background paper.

The green vertical strip is the backside of the turquoise paper with the lime polka dots. It is slightly patterned as well. It’s just hard to see in this photo.

The saying is from Edgy Eloquence. I so hope that it will be in the next big catalog. I love those sayings!

While Jenn and I were in the store drooling over the paper we called Joy from Eclectic Paperie and told her that she HAS TO start carrying My Mind’s Eye paper. It’s just THAT pretty.
