I’d like to see multiple ways to use an old stamp set. Sometimes when the budget is tight I can swing some new patterned paper, but not a whole new stamp set!
I am new to stamping, so all of your cards and tutorials are giving me inspiration, but I would like to see a tutorial on using velum. I think it is so pretty and classy, but I don’t really know *how* to use it.

Wow, I cannot get over how many hits you’ve had in such a short time!! You are a fantastic artist, so it’s not terribly surprising! What would I like to see? Well, I do love how you show different card folds and sketches. I would love to see more of a product tutorial and options to create them (like alcohol inks and how to make them with ink refills and alcohol …) or highlight products such as Lumiere, Pearl Ex …!

WOW! You’re up to 250k already, that’s awesome. Well I would love to see a tutorial on wrapping a box with decorative paper using Modge Podge. I know it seems silly, but I see all these great altered items and I just don’t know how to do that sort of stuff.

Wow, congratulation on reaching 250 000. I absolutely love your website and tutorioals. What I would love to see is a tutorial on copic markers. I love these markers and have a few which I have experimented with, but would love to see more tips and tricks on the use of this great coloring medium!

I’m going to go old school and ask if there are different ways to sponge color on edges. I often see such neat sponging and then can’t reproduce it. I know…I’m a dork! :0)

I would love to see more critiques… It looks like you have a lot of resources and experience — both of your own and within in your circle. I’d be interested in your thoughts on wood-mounted versus acrylic stamps? Copic versus Prismacolor (versus other) markers? Hybrid inks versus Classic inks versus Craft inks versus Alcohol inks (etc. etc.)? Bind-It-All? Sizzix? Cuttlebug? Cricut? And on and on… I’d hate to have you duplicate info that is probably out there on the ‘net somewhere, but those are the questions on my mind lately… Stampers, old and new, love their “stuff” after all! 🙂

Yummy — great fresh and fun freebies! Two things come to mind. I’m new to posting my cards, and could use some tips (tutorial) on how to best photograph them. Second, I love patterned paper, but usually take the safe route and use one pattern with solids. Are there some tips on combining two or three patterns? Other than buying co-ordinating papers (done that!) which aren’t always available. Thanks, I love checking in to your blog frequently.

Whoo Hoo! You have so many “hits” because your blog rocks!!!! I’m sure this is very easy to do, but I’d like to know how to sponge the edges of paper. I have not figured this out after buying StampinUp sponges. Maybe because I only have stamping spots.

Wow – 250,000!! That’s impressive and well deserved! I wish I could suggest what I’d like to see next, but I’m happy with whatever you post. Well, except maybe the beach photos which make me a little homesick for Florida, but I enjoy seeing them anyway 🙂 The west coast FL beaches are prettier than the NE Florida ones, too!

So many hits so fast, because the blog is awesome! I would love to see a tutorial on how you use those new Ciao Copic markers. The images really look like watercoloring and I just can’t imagine how to do that with markers.

Well, I can’t imagine what you haven’t taught us already! 🙂 Although, I just received my cutter kit in the mail today and would love to see a tutorial on ways to use it, or a creative way. (I’m dying to try out the “faux stitching” technique they highlighted with the perforating tool and white craft ink at regionals in VA Beach.) This little tool just may become my new best friend. . .

I’ve seen some cards recently with ‘twinkling h20’s’. What is this and how do you use it? I’m also clueless about how to use Pearlex (sp?) as a ‘paint’. ???

I can’t imagine having the time to update a blog every day-I am lucky to remember to comb my hair. Where do you budget time to create and post? I think I have tried evry new product I see sometimes just by going to a local store and seeing a demo. I did see a cool one recently using bee’s wax over an altered tag. I may have to post it myself just the photo tho as I have no idea what we did other than using the Suzi’s Melting Pot-you know anything about this wax stuff???

For instance Alcohol inks are best or only for this paper, and SU’S Craft ink is for this use, and Su’s Classic ink is for this, Palette inks, chalk inks, pastels, what paints can be used on vellum, when you need to seal things. I also would love to see a tutorial on luminere and/or pearl-ex. I have luminere but have never used it. I have pearl-ex also, but just putting it on versamark, it rubs off. I also have combined it with clear embossing powder which is neat, but I would like to hear or see some of your other ideas.

Personally I loved seeing your stamping space. I don’t know why, but I love to see where people are when they make such beautiful creations. I always say to myself “I would never think of that”, so thanks for sharing your creativity! You do a lot of coloring using your aqua painter. I would love to know exactly what technique you use with your aqua painter (ink refills, ink pads, etc.)

One thing that may be helpful is a ‘back to the basics’ tutorial that covers all the different types of coloring techniques used in stamping (i.e. blender pens, aqua brush, pastels, watercolor crayons, etc). It’s always helpful to hear how others use the same products!
Beate … I think that you are probably the most talented stamper I know (well cyber-know)! I’m just amazed at your work … always inspired! If I could choose a tutorial, I would be interested in different techniques using the metallic pencils or tips on watercoloring with the various pencils, crayons, ink refills. Ich steige noch immer noch nicht ganz durch bei all den Foren, aber ich liebe es. Leider kann ich so viele produkte hier nicht bekommen, aber jemand sagte mir, dass ab Herbst auch SU! Produkte in Schottland erhaeltlich sein sollen, ich kann es kaum erwarten, als erstes kaufe ich dann den Word Window Punch! Und diese tollen Stempelsets… ich bin immer ganz neidisch, Schottland ist zum Basteln doch eher Diaspora! Mach wieter so, ich kann immer kaum erwarten, von Dir zu lesen! Danke!

Congrats on the hits and thanks for all the ideas and tutorials! Here are some ideas for future tutorials(all the stuff I have but don’t have good ideas on how to use them!):
-ways to use vellum (colored vellum too!)
-ways to use double-sided dp
-ways to use Spectrum pads
-and new folds are always fun to try out!

Congratulations on 250,000+ hits. I always forget about using versamark, maybe a tutorial on all the different ways to use it. What I would love to know is how you store your paper when you move? My hubby is a Pilot in the navy and we move alot. I have aquired too much stuff to bring along with me in my trunk. How do you prepare everything for the movers?
I haven’t gotten through all the tutorials you’ve already written (and enjoyed very much)! I’m sure there’s one in there somewhere about using vellum — best inks, highlighting, overlaying, coloring, etc. I’d also like to see more cards using transperencies, especially since I inherited a box of them from a friend. I’m kind of new at all this, so have been blown away by all the talent I’m finding is out there to CASE. (I’m not so new that I didn’t pick up that acronym right away — ha!) Good luck on getting the next 250K.
I would like some more examples of how to use some of these techniques, including in scrapbooking. I want to use more embossing in scrapbooking but not sure how! Thanks for your inspiration!

But that doesnt help you to come up with ideas. I read thru some of the responses and have to agree, I love the look of vellum and dont use it very often, but would like to. Hi Beate, It’s no surprise to your dedicated blog followers that you’ve reached 250,000 so quickly. I always learn SOMETHING when I look over your site. I would also like to see an explanation on sponging on ink. I struggle getting the soft, even look that you’ve perfected. I also struggle with storage, & love peeking into stamp rooms, so maybe discuss ribbon storage one week, inks the next week, embellishments, etc, etc? Keep up your simply beautiful work!
