Today’s Color Challenge was to use Groovy Guava and Always Artichoke. I really like those two colors together (well…those with chocolate Chip of course. LOL).

Here is my simple and quick card. After I made this one for the challenge, I made it ten more times.

I need some cards for downline and customers.

I like how it came out, even if it’s a simple one.

The card base is a 4 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Always Artichoke folded down to 4 1/4″ x 4 1/2″. Why such a strange size? Well, since you asked….this card started out as a regular 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card. I just kept cutting it shorter and shorter. It didn’t look right that long. I just can’t help myself…..But at least it’s not a square. LOL

I rounded the outer corners with the corner rounder. After making the card I noticed that I had the grabbed the retired one. That’s what you get when you move your whole stamp room into another room and everything is cleaned up! That corner rounder needs to stay on my table!

The Confetti White layer measures 3″ x 4 1/8″, the Groovy Guava Prints Designer paper is a 1/4″ smaller. I stamped a swirl from Priceless in Groovy Guava on the bottom left corner and added a small chocolate chip photo corner over it. Next I stamped the sentiment Priceless in Chocolate Chip to  the bottom right.

For the center image I stamped the flower stamp twice on Confetti White cardstock, one in Chocolate Chip and one in Always Artichoke. I cut the Artichoke flower out and punched out the Chocolate one with the 1 1/4″ circle punch. I taped the Artichoke flower on to the chocolate one, layered the Confetti White circle first on a 1 3/8″ Groovy Guava circle, then on a Chocolate Chip Scallop circle and added a Pewter brad in the flower center.

Before I adhered the image with dimensionals, I punched a slot with the Horizontal Slot punch and ran Groovy Guava Double Stitched ribbon through it.
