I haven’t stamped on a candle in quite a while. Since the tutorial was in the SCS newsletter  in the Feedback section, I thought I would create a quick video for that fun and easy technique.

I stamped this gorgeous image from From the Crypt in Black Stazon on Tissue paper, cut around it and melted it into the candle. I repeated it two more times to cover the candle.

From far away it doesn’t even look like a Halloween image. I do like how it turned out.

Here is a video for the visual learner.

  9. That candle looks so very elegant! And I agree – if you don’t focus on the details, it doesn’t scream Halloween, it just looks like an elegant Damask pattern.

I am thinking scrapbook pages with this one…

  20. I knew this tutorial would come in handy one day and today was that day! I have not done this technique before and I wanted to make my daughter’s Christening candle for this coming Sunday. I printed ‘christening’ and her name and sunday’s date on tissue paper, cut them out and off I went with my heat tool. I am so proud of myself for trying this and how the candle turned out – thank you Beate for such a great tutorial as I am very much a visual person.
