A little while ago I  shot a video for the Striped Wipe Background technique. I haven’t shared that tiny card with you yet.

To create the background I used Broken China, Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint Distress ink re-inker on baby wipe. I inked the wipe and swiped it over Glossy White cardstock. The image is from Lizzie Anne Design’s January 2010 Monthly Mix. It was stamped in Black Stazon over the background. The image was adhered to a black scallop card base that had been cut with Rectangle Nestabilities.

Here is a video for the visual learner:

  1. Thanks Beate! Wonderful tutorial and card!

  2. What a timely reminder that this is a technique I really want to try. When I first read the original tutorial I had no re-inkers, and now that I have some I was just thinking of this as something I should try.
    Thanks, Beate.

  3. This is such a pretty technique for that beautiful image, Beate!! Such a pretty card!!
