As one of my samples for Wednesday’s Product review I chose to create a frame out of Swirl Grungeboard.

I ran the Grungeboard with the Jumbo Scalloped Rectangle and Classic Rectangle Nestabilities die twice through my Wizard. It almost cut it all the way through. I had to help a bit with scissors. Next I added color to the frame front with my Pearl Acrylic Paint DabberSoft Pink KaiserCraft Rhinestones were added to the three of the corners.

Pink and White Tissue was cut with Spellbinders Nested Blossoms, layered and topped with Recollections Brads. Maja Road Swirls were first colored with Citrus Acrylic Paint Dabber, then sprinkled with Pine Needles Distress Embossing powder.

I added a piece of Acetate over the frame opening and placed one of my favorite pictures of Rebecca behind it. The rectangle cut out from the front was placed behind the frame. It was closed with a slightly bigger cardboard rectangle and some retired Stampin’ Up! photo hinges. The foot of the frame was cut out of cardboard as well. The cardboard pieces were colored with Black Acrylic Paint.
