As part of Unity’s two year anniversary, challenges were posted every day. Yesterday’s challenge was hosted by Jenn, Lori and me. The challenge was to use a sketch, patterned paper, Buttons or bling.

The card base is a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock folded in half. The front edges were sponged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  Four 1 1/16″ x 2 1/4″ strips of Earth Love Cosmo Cricket paper strips were stitched to the bottom of a  4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. The sentiment is and image are from Simply Magical. They were both stamped in Walnut Stain Distress ink.

The image was stamped, then cut out with Nestabilities Label 1, then sponged with Antique Linen while the die was still over the cardstock. Stardust Stickles were added over the fairy wings and the mushroom. It was layered on a bigger Chocolate Chip label that was covered with Tiny Twinkles.

To finish the card off, three buttons on the bottom right threaded with embroidery floss.
