Today’s Kraftin’ Kimmie challenge is to create a Black and White card. I thought Mitzi, the Mummy would be perfect for that challenge. I stamped her in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on X-Press it Blending card and colored her with Copic Markers (skin: W00, W01, W03, bandages: T0, T1, T3, Hair: T5, T7, T9 Ground: W2, W4). The image was cut and embossed with the Scalloped Frame die. I cut a black piece of cardstock with the same die and used that for the outside frame. The image was airbrushed with Copic Marker W2.

The card also works for the current Copic Creations challenge. All you  have to do is create a project shaded in or around your image with Copic Markers. Kraftin’ Kimmie is the sponsor for this challenge and you might win two Kimmie stamps of your choice by participating.

A 4 1/2″ long strip of white cardstock was cut and embossed with Lotus Borderabilities. It was adhered under a 3″ x 4 1/2″ piece of Basic Grey Periphery paper, which was stitched to a 4 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ piece of Periphery paper. 1/2″ wide seam stitching was wrapped twice around the horizontal strip and tied into a wrinkly double bow. The bow was topped with a button from my stash.

I cut a tag with another Spellbinder die, airbrushed it with Copic Marker W2. The sentiment is from Sassy Sentiments in Tuxedo Black. The tag was tied to the bow with the same Linen thread to tie the button over the bow.

The inside of the card is super simple. Just a piece of white cardstock, layered with more patterned paper and stitched at the edges.

Have a great weekend! Hugs and smiles
