I am sorry I have been so quiet lately. Beginning of last week I was sick, then I prepped for a Copic Demo I held at Dick Blick last Thursday, then worked on videos. The last few days I have been prepping for my card class at a Simply Scrapbook next Sunday.

October is a busy month and I am not sure how much I can post. Beginning of November will be another Holiday Blitz tutorial week on SCS and I am busy preparing for that as well as upcoming Product reviews. Plus I will be going to the Intermediate Copic Certification in Chicago on the 22th of this month. I am very excited about that.

I had to make time to play yesterday. I hadn’t stamped in days. I used yesterday’s Hope you can cling to challenge as well as the sketch from Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge for this card.  The Hope you can cling to challenge asked to use something old and something new on your card. I recently ordered the new Flourishes Apples of My Eyeand the Eyelet Circle Nestabilities. After seeing the sketch from Flourishes, I knew I wanted to use both of those.  For my something old I chose an old Paper pack from Fancy Pants called All Fall and some brads I have since forever. I think they are from Making Memories, but I am not sure.

I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers (Leaves: G21, G24, G28, Apple: R24, R27, R29, R39, YR21 shadow: BV20, E59 (coloring silver brad). The image was cut and embossed with Classic Circle Nestabilities, layered first on a circle cut and embossed with the next size circle die out of Canyon Brown Neenah cardstock, Then on a cardstock piece cut and embossed with Eyelet Circle Nestabilities and airbrushed with Copic Marker YR21.

The card base is a 4 3/4″ x 12″ piece of Fudgecicles Core’dination Foundation cardstock piece folded in half.  A 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of All Fall paper was stitched to a 3/16″ bigger piece of Canyon Brown cardstock before it was adhered to the card front.

A 5 3/16″ long strip of Neenah Solar White cardstock was cut and embossed with Eyelet Borderabilities. It as adhered to a 2 9/16″ x 5 3/16″ piece of brown cardstock, which had a 3/16″ smaller piece of All Fall paper stitched to it. The smaller piece on top is also patterned paper from All Fall paper and measures 2″ x 4 1/2″. It was also stitched to a 3/16″ piece of brown cardstock. Red Gingham May Arts ribbon was tied around the wider layer and topped with an old Making Memories Brad.

The sentiment is also from Apple of My Eye. It was stamped on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock that had been cut and embossed with the tag five die from Spellbinders. The center was airbrushed with Copic Marker BG000. It was tied to the ribbon with Butterscotch Waxed Linen. The ends of the waxed Linen were wrapped around my paper piercing tool to give it a twisted look. Mango Kaisercraft Pearls finish off the card front.

Have a wonderful day! Hugs and smiles
