Today is the last day of Whimsy Stamps Sneak Peeks for the new Rubber stamp release. Tomorrow is the big blog hop. I created this card for this weeks CPS sketch challenge as well as Kenny K challenge. Brooklyn Babe was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. The image was cut with Label 17 Nestabilities dies and colored with Copic Markers (Hat, pants, shoes: BG10, BG11, BG13 Shoes, hat, shirt: Y17, YR15, YR18 Hair: YR21, YR23, E33, E35 Eyes: G40, G82 Jacket: T4, T5, T7, T9 Skin: YR0000, YR000, YR00 Lips: R20, YR02 Ground: E41, E42, E43 Background: 1/5th YR31 refill 4/5th Blending solution, YR30).
The image was adhered to a piece of black cardstock. The black cardstock was hand cut to a slightly bigger layer and the image layer was paper pierced.
A 2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of MME Stella & Rose Mabel patterned paper was adhered to a 4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of the same paper pack. Turquoise ribbon (JoAnn’s) was tied around the vertical strip. The bow was topped with a Rhinestone brad.
The paper was adhered to the card base, a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of black cardstock folded in half. The image was adhered over the ribbon with dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the new Treasure Moment Tickets. It was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, cut out and colored with Copic Markers (BG11, BG13, 1/5th YR31, YR30). The sentiment was adhered to the lower right of the image. A small Recollection rhinestone swirl was added underneath. Three Silver Kaisercraft Rhinestones were adhered to the upper right hand side of the paper finish off the card.
