Welcome to Whimsy’s April Digi Release Blog Hop. The digi team was sweet enough to let me hop along with them. The new digital images are so amazing, I had to hop along. If you are coming from Melissa’s blog you are right on track. For a listing of all blogs involved in this blog hop, please check the Whimsy Inspirations Blog, where the hop started.

Please leave comments along the way as there will be two mystery DT members who will each be choosing a winner from the comments left on their hop posts! The winners will each win one Whimsy digi image of their choice.

The Grand Prize winner of the hop chosen from the very last stop, which is Cheryl’s Blog will receive 5 new digital stamps of their choice from Whimsy, and will also get a chance to use those new digital images as a guest designer for Whimsy for the entire month of February

Isn’t this deer the cutest thing ever? It was combined with the Meadow background to create this scene. The image was printed out on Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut with Petite Oval Nestabilities and colored with Copic Markers ( Deer: E07, E08, E09    Deer Spots: E30, E31, E33    Hooves & Nose: N5, N7    Ear: R00, R20, R21    Scarf: RV10, RV63, RV55   Flowers: Y13, Y15,  Y17, YR18, E37    small flowers: RV63, RV55    leaves: YG01, YG03, YG05   Grass YG61, YG63, YG67     Toadstool: R08, R27, R29, E50, E51, E53     sky: BG0000, BG000, BG01).

The image was layered on a piece of Really Rust cardstock that had been cut and embossed with Beaded Oval Nestabilties dies and colored with Copic Marker E07 to match the deer. The edges of the oval were paper pierced.

A 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Pink Paislee’s Hometown Summer paper pack was stitched to a 4″ x  5 1/4″ piece of the same paper pack after the lower two corners were rounded with the corner chomper (love that tool). May Arts ribbon was tied around the vertical strip before the layers were adhered to the card base, a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Solar white cardstock, folded in half. The card base also had the lower two corners rounded.

Before the image was adhered with dimensionals, a Recollection Rhinestone swirl was adhered to the top right of the card. The sentiment is from Whimsy’s Treasured Moments Ticket stamp set. It was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a piece of Solar White cardstock that had been cut and embossed with Petite Oval Nestabilities. The embossed part of the oval was colored with Copic Marker RV10.

Hop on over to Sylvia’s blog to see what she has created. Good luck with the prize drawings!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
Hugs and smiles

Oh Beate this is the most adorable image…and your coloring…well, there are times I hate you…just kidding…I hope you know me well enough by now to know that I say these things out of pure jealousy 🙂 Anyhow, I have a question. I love all of the Whimsey stamps, but when I try to print one, I never get the WHOLE image…only mostly the middle of the image…any clue as to what I am doing wrong?
