Nothing better then getting back into the groove of stamping then challenges!!! I am very excited to announce that I am now on the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge team. If you read my blog you know that I LOVE Flourishes stamps. They are so much fun to color and create gorgeous cards easily.

Today’s challenge is to use your favorite flowers on your card or project. Favorite flowers are hard to pick for me. I love daisies, peonies, tulips and most other flowers. I haven’t used any of the stamps from the last release (darn that move!) and was eager to play with Sweet Nature.

I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock that had been cut and embossed with the largest Label 9 Nestabilities die. The image was colored with Copic Markers (YG01, YG03, YG17, RV63, RV66), masked and then sponged with Antique Linen Distress ink while the label die was placed over the die cut. Next I stamped the background script from Sweet Nature as well as the big Ranunculus bloom in Antique Linen. The layer was adhered to a piece of black cardstock that was hand cut to a slightly bigger layer. Black Rhinestones Label 9 Nestabling was adhered around the image.

A 4 1/4″ wide strip of white cardstock was cut and embossed with one of the Parisian Accent dies and adhered to a 2″ x 4 1/4″ strip of Echo Park Walk in the Park Patterned Paper. The strips were adhered to a 4 1/4″ x 5″ piece of the same paper pack. The layers were adhered to a 1/4″ bigger piece of black cardstock, white organdy ribbon was tied around the horizontal strips and everything was adhered to the card base, a 4 3/4″ x 11″ piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock.

The sentiment panel was cut and embossed out a Neenah Solar White cardstock with another Parisian Accent die. The die cut was sponged with Antique Linen and a bit of Vintage Photo Distress ink. The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the die cut.Black Rhinestone baby bling from Want2Scrap were added to the tag.

The main image was adhered over the horizontal strip with dimensionals. The sentiment panel was adhered to the lower right of the image. Another piece of white cardstock was cut and embossed with another one of the Parisian Accent die and adhered to the lower left of the card.

P.S.: In case you are wondering why I am not sewing…..I had my sewing machine for at least 13 years and thought it was time to send it to the Spa. It needed some pampering. I won’t get it back until next Monday.
