Welcome back to day two of Flourishes Sneak Peek for the December Release. It’s another gorgeous set of images that you will LOVE to color.
I couldn’t wait to ink up this image created by the wonderful Marcella Hawley. I walked by pear trees going to school in Germany every day and I knew I wanted to color these beauties in the colors of those pears.
The pears were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on white cardstock. The image was cut and embossed with Label 23 Nestabilities dies and colored with Copic Markers ( Pears: Y21, Y23, YG91, YG93, YG95, E33 Leaves: YG01, YG61, YG63, YG17, YG67 Branches: E23, E25, E27, E29 Bloom: RV63, YG61, YR31, W2). The image was masked and airbrushed with Copic Marker B45.
Three pieces of My Mind’s Eye Lost & Found 2 Sunshine Patterned paper were stitched to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of white cardstock. White Organdy Ribbon was tied around the layers before the image layer was adhered with dimensionals.
A sentiment from the same set was stamped on a white cardstock circle which was also airbrushed with Copic Marker B45. The layers were adhered to the card base, a 4 1/2″ x 11 1/2″ piece of Textured Kraft Cardstock, folded in half. Self Adhesive Pearls finish off that card.
