I created a really quick card with the new Unity Good Day Sunshine image. I thought it didn’t need extra layers or bling.
I stamped the image with Jet Black Archival Ink on a piece of Echo Park Springtime paper. It was cut into a 3 1/2″ long strip. White May Arts Crochet Lace was adhered underneath the strip, Two buttons were stitched to the upper left edge of the strip before the strip was adhered to a 3 1/2″ x 11″ piece of Sunflower Bazzill paper, that was folded in half to create the card base. The sentiment from the set was stamped on the bottom right.
What do you think? Is it too plain? Have a wonderful day!
Hugs and smiles

Hi Beate! Gorgeous and fun card.
God Bless 🙂
Love the elegant simplicity. This is a perfect sketch for mass producing!
This is so beautiful, Beate!! The stamp is so playful and fun!! You’re right…it didn’t need much embellishment!! I don’t know that I could make a CAS card if I tried 🙂 I hope you have a great day 🙂

Such a cute image and love the simplicity. Hugs! Mojca
Such a sweet CAS card, Beate. The silhouette image looks lovely stamped onto the pale blue paper x
A cute card but too easy for your talent.
I think that it is quite beautiful without any further layers, bling or bells & whistles!! Such a lovely image doesn’t need to be drowned out – it needs to be allowed to sing out loud and clear without further company and your talent has given it the stage to do that from. Not everyone has that talent: knowing when less is more and to leave well alone. Just my opinion for what it’s worth! Have a lovely day.

Your card is amazing in its simplicity! I think some images are made to be just fun and you achieved tat here…reminds me of a hot summer day, childhood fun, laughter and sunshine…all the good things! Nicely done!
