Today’s Timeless Tuesday Challenge hostess is Silke. She and I are posting our last post as Timeless Tuesday challenge members. Starting in July we will both be part of the Flourishes senior design team. Silke’s challenge is to use our favorite stamps, dies and embellishments for our card.

One of my favorite Flourishes image is from Year in Flowers 2 stamp set. The rose was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on white cardstock, colored with Copic Markers ( Flowers: B0000, B91, B95, B99    Leaves: G20, G21, G24, G28) and cut out.  A piece of My Mind’s Eye Lost & Found 2 Breeze patterned paper was cut and embossed with the largest of the Classic Oval SM Nestabilities dies. The edges were sponged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a sentiment from the current Flip With Gratitude set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink.  The sentiment layer was first adhered to a piece of Kraft cardstock, cut and embossed with the largest Classic Oval LG die, then to a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with the largest Floral Oval Nestabilities die. The rose was adhered to the right side of the oval layers with foam adhesive.

Another piece of Breeze patterned paper was cut and embossed with the second smallest Grand Rectangle Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded and stitched before Sheer ribbon was tied around the layer and through one of the Floral Oval openings of the frame.  The bow was topped with a button, tied on with embroidery thread.

The layers were adhered to a card base, cut out of white cardstock with the second smallest Grand Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities die. Part of a Silver Finesse Rhinestone swirl over the roses and Fancy That! Border bling on the top right finish off my card.

-Favorite die: Floral Oval die
-Favorite layout: Floral Oval die on top of Scallop Rectangle
-One of my favorite images: Rose stamp
-Favorite Embellishment: Ivory sheer ribbon, Finesse Rhinestones swirl and Fancy That! Border Bling

Today’s Timeless Tuesday Challenge is Cindy. She is challenges us to create anything that could be found on your desk. I thought I would create a little note pad box with the new Summer Blossoms and Letters in Blossom sets from this month release.

First I cut around 70 3 1/2″ squares out of printer paper. The edges of each square were rounded. Some squares were stamped with New Sprout Memento Ink and a corner blossom from Summer Blossoms, some where stamped with the B from Letters in Blossom.

For the box I started with a 7 5/8″ square of green cardstock. Each side was scored at 1″ and 2″. Before the box was adhered together,  images from the Summer Blossoms set were used to stamp the outer walls with Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink. One one side I used a 3/4″ circle punch to create a slot to make it easier to get the single papers out of the box. Before the papers were added, I taped a piece of white wrinkled ribbon on the bottom of the box as another help to lift the papers out of the box.

The outer ribbon end was topped with a button, sewn one with embroidery thread. A 3/4″ x 4 1/2″ piece of copy paper was stamped densely, rolled and slipped into an RSVP pen. To finish off my box I created a box top out of clear cardstock. A 5 3/4″ square was scored at 1″ on each side to create the top.

Today’s Timeless Tuesday hostess is Heather. She challenged us to create a Father’s Day project.  For me it was the perfect opportunity to use the new Father’s Day stamp set from last month release.

I stamped one of the images in black ink on white cardstock and cut it out. It was layered over a piece of cardstock cut and embossed with an Ornate Artisan Tags and Accents die that had been sponged with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks.  Another piece of white cardstock was cut and embossed with a Label 18 Nestabilities die. The embossed part was sponged again and one of the sentiments of the Father’s Day set was stamped over the sponged area with Vintage Photo ink. The layers were adhered over a piece of black cardstock, cut and embossed over a Lacey Square Nestabilities die.

A strip of My Mind’s Eye Lost and Found 2 Sunshine paper strip was adhered to a bigger square of the same paper pack. The layers were cut and embossed with a Label 1 Nestabilities die.  The edges were sanded  before the layers were adhered to the card base, black cardstock cut and embossed with a Grand Label 1 Nestabilities die.

A sentiment from the Father’s Day stamp set was stamped on a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with a Lacey Pennant die. The embossed part of the pendant was sponged as well.

Today’s Timeless Tuesday Challenge hostess is Amanda! She challenges us to create a white card and add Pearls and/or Lace. I tried, but had to add a bit of pink shading.

I started by cutting a frame with the Floral Oval Nestabilities and a Classic Oval Nestabilities die (sorry….I LOVE that Floral die and have a hard time NOT using it).  The frame was sponged with Angel Pink Memento Ink.  Another slightly larger then the frame window oval was cut. Antique Lace was inked with Angel Pink ink and stamped over the oval. A sentiment from Butterflies & Blossoms was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the oval before the frame was adhered over it with dimensional foam.

A piece of white cardstock was cut with a Grand Rectangle Nestabilities die before the rectangle was embossed with the Mystic M-Bossabilities die. The edges were stitched before it was adhered to the card base, which was cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities die.

Used dryer sheet was cut with Blossoms dies, layered and held together with a Pearl Brad. Stardust Stickles was added to the edge of each flower petal.  The flower was adhered with dimensional foam to the lower left of the floral oval frame. Pearls and part of a Pearl Finesse Swirl Finish off my card.

Today’s challenge hostess is Mona! She asks us to create a thank you card or tag.  I knew right away I wanted to use the new Hydrangea stamp set again. This time I chose to use the larger of the two flower clusters instead of the big bouquet. The image was stamped three times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on white cardstock, colored with Copic Markers (YR30, YR31, R000, R00, R01, Ro2).  I know those are not colors that Hydrangeas come in, but they worked best for the patterned paper I chose.

A frame was cut out of white cardstock, a  Standard Circle Nestabilities die as well the largest  Tear Drop Circle die. The same Standard circle was used to cut a piece of patterned paper from the  Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden collection. The circle was sanded and stitched and a sentiment from the Hydrangea set was stamped in it’s center. The flowers were adhered to the lower  left of the of the frame.

Another piece of Butterfly Garden paper was cut and embossed with the smallest of the Grand Square Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded and stitched. May Arts Ribbon was threaded through a hole in the Tear Drop circle frame and the layers were adhered to the patterned paper square. The ribbon was tied into a bow and topped with a button. The layers were adhered to the card base, white cardstock cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die. Rhinestones on the top left finish off the card.

I have the pleasure to be the hostess in this weeks Timeless Tuesday Challenge. I love May. Everything is blooming and you can see flowers everywhere. My challenge is super easy. Just use a flower image on your project.

For my card I decided to use the gorgeous image from the Sweet Peas stamp set. It was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on white cardstock. The image was cut and embossed with the smallest Grand Rectangle Nestabilities die and the Out of the Box technique and colored with Copic Markers (Blossom: RV000, RV10, RV13    Leaves: G20, G21, G24   Background: N0, N2).

Two pieces of patterned paper were cut and embossed with the next size of Grand Rectangle dies. The edges were sanded and stitched. A hole was punched on the lower right of the image and pink sheer ribbon was threaded through. The image layer was adhered to the patterned paper, the ribbon was tied into a bow and topped with a button.

A sentiment from With Gratitude was stamped in Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with a Petite Oval Nestabilities die. The sentiment was adhered to the lower left of the image. The layers were adhered to the card base, white cardstock cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities die.

Today’s Timeless Tuesday Challenge hostess is Makiko. She has a fun challenge for us. Pick a letter from the alphabet and have three things on your card that start with that letter. I picked the letter S and included (Sewing, Sanding, Sponging).

I started by stamping an image from the new On the Porch set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on white cardstock. The image was cut and embossed with a Standard Circle Nestabilities die , colored with Copic Markers (Chair: E30, E31, E33   Blanket: RV000, RV00, RV10, R00   Book: B91, B93, B95, E40, E41, E42   Flower Pot: E97, E08, E09, E18   Leaves: YG01, YG03, YG17   Ground: W00, W1, W2, W3, W5, W7, W9). The image was stamped again on a piece of patterned paper. The pillow was cut out and adhered to the main image and the edges of the circle were sponged. The circle was adhered to a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with a Scallop Circle Nestabilities die.

Patterned paper was cut and embossed the Grand Square Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded and stitched before pink ribbon was tied around the paper. The bow was topped with a button, tied on with embroidery floss. The paper were adhered to the card base, white cardstock cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die. The image layers were adhered to the center of the card with dimensionals.

A sentiment from the set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink on a piece of white cardstock cut and embossed with the smallest Petite Oval Nestabilities die. The edges were sponged and the oval was layered on a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with the smallest Label 10 Nestabilities that had been sponged as well. The image was adhered to the lower left of the image.  Rhinestones on the top left and lower right finish off the card.

Today’s Timeless Tuesday challenge hostess is Silke Ledlow. Her challenge is called Pink-a-licious. Adding pink to a card…now that’s an easy challenge right? Since it’s Release week at Flourishes, I get to give you a little sneak peek of one of the new sets. This one is called Hydrangea. Let me tell you….it’s GORGEOUS, just like the rest of the new sets. Make sure you check the Flourishes blog starting tomorrow to get links to the design team samples.

I stamped the big image in  Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on white cardstock. The image was cut and embossed with a Standard Circle Nestabilities die and the Out of the Box technique and the image was colored with Copic Markers (RV52, RV55, YG61, YG63, YG67, E23, E27, BG0000, BG000). The image was adhered to a white scallop circle.

White cardstock was cut and embossed with the smallest of the Grand Label 1 Nestabilities dies and embossed with Mystic M-Bossabilities folder. The layer was adhered to a slightly bigger piece of cardstock that was cut to a slightly bigger shape and colored with Copic Marker RV52. The edges were stitched before pink May Arts ribbon was tied around it. The bow was topped with a button, tied on with embroidery thread.

Part of a sentiment from the new set was stamped in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock, cut and embossed with the smallest of the Petite Oval Nestabilities dies. A smaller image set was stamped in Angel Pink Memento Ink to the left side of the oval and the embossed parts were colored with Copic Marker BG0000. The sentiment was adhered to the lower right of the image. The layers were adhered to a card base, cut and embossed with the second smallest Grand Label 1 Nestabilities die. Rhinestones on the upper left hand corner finish off the card.

Today’s Timeless Tuesday Challenge hostess is Cindy Haffner. Her challenge to us is to create something with a butterfly. It can be a die cut, patterned paper with butterflies, embellishment or stamped image. I pulled out Butterflies & Blossoms, one of my favorite Flourishes set along with some of my favorite Spellbinders die to create my sample.

I started by cutting a frame with the second largest Floral Oval Nestabilities and a Classic Oval die out of white cardstock. A piece of Bo Bunny Country Garden paper was cut and embossed with a slightly larger  Classic Oval die. The edges were sanded and a sentiment from Butterflies & Blossoms was stamped in it’s center with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. The oval was adhered behind the frame.

The smaller floral and butterfly image were stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink on white paper, colored with Copic Markers (Flowers: Y00, Y11, Y13, Y15, YR23, YR27, E37   Leaves: YG00, YG01, YG03, G46   Butterfly: Y17, YR15, YR18), cut out and adhered on the lower left and upper right of the frame.

Another piece of Country Garden paper was cut and embossed with a Grand Square Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded and stitched. A piece of Vellum cardstock was cut and embossed with a Lattice Motif die. Green May Arts Ribbon was threaded through the Vellum layer before it was adhered to the patterned paper square. The ribbon was tied into a bow and topped with a button before the sentiment layers were adhered over the Vellum Lattice die cut.

The layers were adhered to the card base, white cardstock cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die. Parts of a rhinestone swirl on the top left and lower right finish off the card.

Today’s  Timeless Tuesday Challenge hostess is Heather. She created a Bingo card for us to play/stamp with. I decided to use the middle row of the bingo card (Pink – Ribbon – Die Cut).

I cut and embossed a piece of white cardstock with a Petite Oval Nestabilities die. While the die was still on the cardstock, part of the Hollyhock image was stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento Ink. The image was then colored with Copic Markers (RV000, RV10, RV13, G40, G43, G46, YR30, YR31). The oval was first layered on a piece of brown cardstock, then on a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with the largest Floral Oval Nestabilities die.

Patterned paper was cut and embossed with a a Grand Rectangle Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded and stitched before May Arts Ribbon was tied around the horizontal strip. The bow was topped with a button, tied on with Linen Thread. The layers were adhered to the card base, cut and embossed with a Grand Label 23 Nestabilities die.

A sentiment from the Hollyhock set was stamped in Rich Cocoa ink on a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with the Tailor-Made Keyhole Die. The embossed part was colored with YR30, YR31 Copic Markers. The tag was adhered to the upper right hand side of the image oval. Rhinestones finish off the card.
