I created this card for the latest Whimsy Magazine edition. It is out today and you can download it for free. The image I used is from the latest Whimsy Stamps release. It is a Wee stamp called Let it Snow. The image was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock.

The image was cut and embossed with a Label 22 Nestabilities die and colored with Copic Markers (Bunny: E30, E31, E33, E 34, R30, R20, R22     Mouse: N0, N1, N3, N4   Clothes: RV21, RV23, RV25    BG11, BG13, BG15     C00, C1, C2   Pants: BG75, BG78   Sled: E23, E25, E27   Skin: E50, E51, E53    Hair: Y23, E31, E33).  The image was masked , cloud masks were added and the image was airbrushed with Copic Marker B12. The Clouds were colored with Copic Markers W00, W0 and W1. The layers were adhered to a piece of Canyon Brown cardstock and hand cut into a slightly bigger layer.

A 4 3/4″ long strip of white cardstock was cut and embossed with a Lace Doily Accent die. It was adhered under a 2″ x 4 3/4″ piece of Echo Parks Holly Jolly Christmas patterned paper. The strips were adhered to a 4 3/4″  square of the same paper pack. The layers were stitched toa a 1/4″ bigger piece of white cardstock. White Organdy Ribbon was tied around the horizontal strip and topped with a Recollection Glitter Brad.

The card base was cut out of Core’dination cardstock with a Grand Label 23 Nestabilities die. The edges of the cardstock were sanded before the the layers were adhered. A sentiment from the new Winter Notables was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with Copic Markers used on the main image. It was adhered on the top right of the image. Parts of a Finesse Rhinestone Swirl were added to the card front.

Hello and welcome to Day two of our December Rubber Die Release Showcase!

On Wednesday (14 December) Whimsy Stamps released this month’s rubber designs and new shapeology dies. From then until 21 December the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new stamps and dies with a daily mini blog hop.

Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw. To be entered into today’s mini blog hop prize draw, be sure to leave a comment on ALL of the DT’s posts listed below by 12.00PM EST tomorrow. All winners will be announced on the Whimsy Inspirations blog blog after 12.00PM EST on 21 December.

For today’s sample I picked the darling Rose and Felix Wee Stamp. The image was stamped in  Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut out with a Classic Square Nestabilities die and colored with Copic Markers (Skin: E50, E51, E53    Hair: Y21, E31, E33    Dress: R20, R21, R22, T0, T1, T3   Flowers: Y21, Y17, R22, R27, R39   Felix: E30, E31, E33, R20   Ground: W3, W5   Background: B0000, B000, B00). The square was adhered to a piece of Kraft cardstock, cut and embossed with the largest of the Fleur De Lis Square Nestabilities die and the edges were paper pierced. Drops of Diamond Stickles were added.

A 2 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ strip of October Afternoon Sidewalks Paper was adhered to a 4 1/2″ square of the same paper pack. The layers were stitched to a 3/16″ bigger white cardstock square. A paper doily was adhered under the upper right hand corner of the image layers before those were adhered to the layers with dimensionals. All layers were adhered to the card base, a 5″ x 10″ piece of Kraft cardstock, folded in half.

A sentiment from Whimsy’s new Friendship Notables 2 was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Solar White cardstock cut out and adhered to the right edge of the image. Two Recollection flowers were intertwined with one Zva Creative flower and added over a bow tied with seam binding. The bow was adhered to the lower left hand corner of the image. Baby Bling Rhinestones along with parts of a Finesse Rhinestone swirl finish off the card.

Today’s card is created with a new the Wee stamp called Spring Bringer. Isn’t she darling? As soon as I saw the freckles on her nose, I knew I wanted to make her a red head. I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed it with a Petite Oval Nestabilities die and colored her with Copic Markers (Skin: R000, R01, R20   Hair: E97, E99, E09   Wings: Y00, G00, BG11  Shirt: G14, G16, G28   Shirt: YR30, 1/5 YR31, YR31, BV20   Pants: E42, E43, E44, E47   Flowers: R20, R21, R22, Y21, Y17   Ground: YG01, YG03, YG17, E3o, E31   Sky: B0000, B000, B00). The image was stitched to a piece of Canyon Brown cardstock, cut and embossed with the largest Label 4 Nestabilities die.

A piece of White Crochet Lace was stitched to a 1 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Clementine Cosmo Cricket paper and adhered horizontally over the layers. May Arts Organdy Ribbon was tied over the strip and topped with a Recollection flower. The image was adhered over the layers with dimensionals.

The layers were adhered to the  card base, a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with a Grand Label 23 Nestabilities die .  A sentiment from Whimsy’s Spring Letter Seals was stamped in Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed with the smallest of the Petite Oval Nestabilities die. The embossed part was colored with Copic Marker B0000 and the word Dance highlighted with Y21. The sentiment was adhered to the lower right of the image oval. Diamond Stickles was added over the wings and to parts of the flowers. Baby Bling Rhinestones as well as part of a Finesse Rhinestone Swirl finish off the card front.

For my first sample of this new release I used the darling Fluffy on the Lily stamp from Wee stamps. It was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. The image was cut and embossed with a Label 22 Nestabilities die and colored with Copic Markers (Fluffy: E93, E95, E97, E99    Leaves: YG21, YG23, YG17    Flowers: RV21, RV23, RV25, Y13, Y17, YR15   Background: B0000, B000, B00, B01).

Two pieces of Echo Parks Summer Days paper were cut and embossed with a Grand Circle Nestabilities.  The layers were stitched to a slightly larger hand cut white cardstock circle after White Crochet Lace was adhered over the lower edge of the horizontal strip. White Organdy ribbon was colored with Copic Marker RV25, tied around the horizontal layer and topped with a white flower button, tied on with Silver Curling ribbon. Three Zva Creative Mini Flowers were tied together and adhered under the upper left hand corner of the image layer, which was then adhered over the ribbon with dimensionals.

A sentiment from Whimsy’s new Friendship Notables 2 was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Solar White cardstock cut out and adhered to the lower right edge of the image. The layers were adhered to the card base, a piece of Coredinations cardstock, cut and embossed with a Grand Scalloped Circle die. Rhinestones and part of a Finesse Rhinestone swirl finish off the card.
