For my sample today I had to use another darling Fairy from one of Chery’s Flirty Fairies set. I stamped her in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. The image was cut and embossed with a Classic Rectangle Nestabilities die and colored with Copic Markers (Skin: E000, E01, E11    Hair: YG00, YG01, YG03, YG17   Eyes: B01   Dress: R20, R21, R22, R24, T1   Stars: Y06, Y08, Y17). The edges of the rectangle were sponged with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

A 3 1/2″ wide strip of white cardstock was cut and embossed with one of the Classic Scallop Edge One dies and an insert from the Classic Decorative Insert Five. The strip was adhered underneath on of two 3 1/2″ wide strips of Pink Paislee She Art patterned paper that were adhered to a 3 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the same paper pack. The bottom corners were rounded and the edges were stitched before green May Arts ribbon was tied around the paper. The bow was topped with a button tied on with embroidery thread. The layers were adhered to the card base, a 3 3/4″ x 11″ piece of Solar White cardstock, folded in half.

A sentiment was stamped in Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with one of Pagemaps Labels & Tags dies. The embossed part was sponged before the tab was adhered to the upper left hand side of the image. The image was adhered to the card with dimensional adhesive. Fancy Waves! Border bling on the scallop and Endless Waves! Border bling above the bow  finish off the card.

The edges were sanded , stitched and May Arts ribbon was tied around the horizontal strip. The paper was adhered to the card base, white cardstock, cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Rectangle die.

Today’s Timeless Tuesday Challenge hostess is Makiko. She has a fun challenge for us. Pick a letter from the alphabet and have three things on your card that start with that letter. I picked the letter S and included (Sewing, Sanding, Sponging).

I started by stamping an image from the new On the Porch set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on white cardstock. The image was cut and embossed with a Standard Circle Nestabilities die , colored with Copic Markers (Chair: E30, E31, E33   Blanket: RV000, RV00, RV10, R00   Book: B91, B93, B95, E40, E41, E42   Flower Pot: E97, E08, E09, E18   Leaves: YG01, YG03, YG17   Ground: W00, W1, W2, W3, W5, W7, W9). The image was stamped again on a piece of patterned paper. The pillow was cut out and adhered to the main image and the edges of the circle were sponged. The circle was adhered to a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with a Scallop Circle Nestabilities die.

Patterned paper was cut and embossed the Grand Square Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded and stitched before pink ribbon was tied around the paper. The bow was topped with a button, tied on with embroidery floss. The paper were adhered to the card base, white cardstock cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die. The image layers were adhered to the center of the card with dimensionals.

A sentiment from the set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink on a piece of white cardstock cut and embossed with the smallest Petite Oval Nestabilities die. The edges were sponged and the oval was layered on a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with the smallest Label 10 Nestabilities that had been sponged as well. The image was adhered to the lower left of the image.  Rhinestones on the top left and lower right finish off the card.

Take a peek at what the other Timeless Tuesday designer have created for today…

I hope you have time to play. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

I am excited to be a guest designer for Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps this month. Today’s challenge is to create a card for Mom. I decided to use an image from Cheryl Alger’s Sugar and Spice set. It was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock. The image was cut and embossed with a Petite Oval Nestabilities die and colored with Copic Markers (Dress, bow, balloon, grass: YG00, YG01, YG03, YG17    Socks: N0, N3   Shoes: N3, N5, N7, N9    Skin: E000, E01, E11    Hair: Y26, E33, E35, E37   Background: B0000, B000). The image was adhered to a piece of Kraft cardstock, cut and embossed with the largest Floral Oval Nestabilities die.

Two pieces of Pink Paislee She Art patterned paper were cut and embossed with a Grand Rectangle Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded, stitched and May Arts ribbon was tied around the horizontal strip. The paper was adhered to the card base, white cardstock, cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Rectangle die.

The image layers were adhered to the card base with dimensional adhesive. Fancy That! Border Bling was added to the upper left hand side of the card. A sentiment from Kimmie’s Everyday Sentiments was stamped in Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Solar White cardstock,  cut and embossed with a tag die from Home Sweet Home . The embossed part was colored with Copic Marker B0000. It was tied to the bow with a button and embroidery thread to finish off the card.

JustRite Stampers released gorgeous new background stamps. I had to try one out right away. It is called Grandma’s Attic.  I created the card for the current JustRite Stampers challenge.

I stamped it once in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a piece of Pink Paislee London Market Patterned paper, once partially on Kraft cardstock and again partially on another patterned paper piece from London Market paper pack. The biggest piece was cut and embossed with a Classic Square Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded before the layer was stitched to a slightly bigger piece of Kraft cardstock.

The dress form was cut out from the Kraft cardstock piece. The edges were sponged from the Frayed Burlap Distress Ink before it was adhered to the main image square. One of the spools was cut out from the other patterned paper piece and adhered to the main image.  A brad was added as well as a wooden spool button. A piece of vellum cardstock was cut and embossed with a wing die from Home Sweet Home. Th embossed parts were highlighted with a white pastel pencil before it was adhered underneath the dress form. A piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock was cut and embossed with the largest Square Swatches die and the layers were adhered above it.

A 3″ wide strip of London Market Paper was adhered over a different patterned paper from the same pack. It was cut and embossed with a Grand Square Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded before the paper was stitched to a slightly bigger piece of Kraft paper. The image layer were adhered to the bigger squares with dimensional foam adhesive before May Arts Ribbon was tied around it vertically.  The layers were then adhered to the card base, Solar White cardstock cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die.

A sentiment from the new Vintage Rose Medallion stamp set was stamped in Tuxedo Black on Solar White cardstock that had been cut and embossed with a Home Sweet Home tag die. The center of the tag was sponged with Frayed Burlap ink before the tag was tied to the ribbon bow with Linen Thread and a button. Another piece of London Market paper was cut and embossed with the larger Heart die from Home sweet home. The edges were sanded and the heart was adhered slightly under the tag. Heart Silver Rhinestone Nestabling was addded over the heart and Fancy That! Border bling to the upper right and lower left hand side to finish off the card.

Day two of the Flourishes Sneak Peeks. Today the featured set is the Botanical Bookplates Vo. 2. I loved the first one and I have to say that they second set in this series is just as gorgeous as the first.

For my sample I stamped the big Lily of the Valley image in Tuxedo Black Ink on White cardstock. It was cut and embossed with a Classic Oval Nestabilities die and the Out of the Box technique. The image was cut down even more on the embossed edge and colored with Copic Markers (T0, T1, T3, YG01, YG03, YG17, B0000, B000). The image was adhered to a piece of cardstock, cut and embossed with the second largest Floral Oval Nestabilities die.

A piece of vellum cardstock was cut and embossed with a Lattice Motif die. The image ovals were adhered over it with dimensionals. A piece of patterned paper was cut and embossed with the smallest of the Grand Square Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded and a strip of white cardstock was taped over the paper square. The edges were stitched and ribbon was threaded through the Vellum layer and tied around the paper square. The layers were adhered to the card base, white cardstock cut and embossed with the smallest Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die.

A sentiment from the set was stamped on a piece of cardstock, cut and embossed with one of the Tailor-Made Classic Tags Template die. The tag was tied on to the bow with a button and embroidery thread.

Mother’s Day is coming up soon and the new release of Flourishes stamps will make it easy for you to create gorgeous feminine cards. Today the first set being showcased is called Love and Lace. It was designed by Lauren Pope along with a matching background called Antique Lace.

For my sample I stamped the image circle in brown ink on white cardstock, cut and embossed it with a Standard Circle die and layered it on a piece of Kraft cardstock, cut and embossed with a Fancy Tag 3 die. The wreath image of Love and Lace was stamped in pink ink on white cardstock, cut and embossed with a Standard circle die, then adhered first on a slightly larger Kraft circle, then a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with the largest Tear Drop Circle Nestabilities die.

Part of a sentiment from Love and Lace was curved on the stamp block, then stamped in brown ink on the bottom of the pink wreath. Rhinestones were added on the outer edge of the pink wreath.

A piece of patterned paper was cut and embossed with the smallest of the Grand Square Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded, then stitched before Ribbon was threaded through one of the Tear Drop circle holes and tied around the patterned paper square. The layers were adhered to the card base, Kraft cardstock cut and embossed with the smallest Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die.

Since I only used part of the sentiment on the card front,  I added the entire sentiment on the inside of the card. The background was stamped in pink on white cardstock and cut and embossed with the bigger heart die from Home Sweet Home.

It’s my turn to host Timeless Tuesday again. I thought I give you an easy challenge. April is my birthday month so your challenge is to make a birthday card.

I love the new Botanical Bookplates Vo. 1 and thought they would make for a great spring birthday card. One of the images was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers. The image was cut out with the Tailor-Made Classic Bookplate die and layered on a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with one of the the Antique Frame & Accent dies.

The border strip  and the small corner die of the same die package were used to cut another piece of white cardstock.  The card was designed with the designer papers. The sentiment was stamped with the same black ink on a piece of cardstock, cut and embossed with a Tailor-Made Classic Tag die. Ribbon and rhinestones finish off the card.

Take a peek at what the other Timeless Tuesday designer have created for today…
