You know I had to get all of the new Elisabeth Bell stamps from this release. The images are just too cute. So today I am sharing a card made with the new image called April Sunshine. I stamped the darling girl n Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed it with a Petite Oval Nestabilities die and colored it with Copic Markers (Umbrella and flowers: Y00, Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17   handle/basket/sentiment: E31, E33, E35, E37   Shirt/grass: YG00, YG01, YG03, YG17   Jeans: B91, B93, B95, B97, B00   Flower/watering can/bow: YR07, R24, R27   Skin: E50, E51, E53, BV00   Hair: N4, N6, N6, N10   Apron: C00, C1, C3    Background: B0000, B000).

Two pieces of Cosmo Cricket Tea for Two patterned paper were cut and embossed with the largest Label 25 Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded and stitched before first White May Arts Crochet Lace, then  May Arts ribbon was tied around the spot where the papers met. The layers were adhered to the card base, cut and embossed with the same Label 25 Nestabilities die. The image layer was adhered over the card base with dimensional adhesive.

For my card today I used the adorable new Wee image called Goldie. Colleen Schaan had recently posted a gorgeously colored mermaid on her blog and I knew I wanted to try out the look and the colors she chose. So I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed it with a Classic Square Nestabilities die. die and colored it with Copic Markers (Skin: E000, BG000, B00   Dots: G14, G17, BG57   Scales: G12, G14, G17   Hair: B21, B24, B26, B29, G12, G15   Bubbles: YG000, G00). The image was stitched to a piece of Coordination cardstock, cut and embossed with a Scalloped Square Nestabilities die.

A piece of Bo Bunny Barefoot & Bliss patterned paper was cut and embossed with a  Grand Square Nestabilities die. The edges were sanded before Aqua May Arts Ribbon was tied around the paper. The layer was then adhered to the card base, a 4 9/16″ x  9 1/8″ piece of Solar White cardstock folded in half.

A sentiment from the new Ticket Notes was stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink on white cardstock, cut it out and colored it with Copic Markers BG000 and G12. It was tied on to the ribbon bow with embroidery thread and a button. Part of a Finesse Rhinestone Swirl was adhered over the bow, and part of a Fancy Waves Border Bling was added to the lower right corner to finish off the card.

My card today features the darling Sweet Little Donkey from Meljen’s Design. I love that image. I already had it as a digital image, but I love it so much, I had to get it as a rubber stamp as well. The image was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed with a Petite Oval Nestabilities die and colored with Copic Markers (donkey: W0, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9    Nose/ear: R01, E93, E95, E07    Grass: G40, G43, G46    Background: BG0000, BG000).

Today’s new Whimsy Challenge is to use no patterned paper. That’s a tough one for me. But I did it for my card on Monday and liked it so much,  I used the same dies and embossing folder again.

I picked Brooke the Zinnia Fairy as my image. She was printed out on Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut out with the Out of the Box technique and a  Standard Circle Nestabilities die and colored with Copic Markers ( Flower and Shirt: Y32, Y17, YR15, YR18, E97, E99, E29   Leaves and Skirt: YG01, YG03, YG17   Skin: E0000, E00, E02   Hair: Y23, E31, E33   Wings: YG0000, YG00, YG01   Background: BG0000, BG000, BG01). The circle was adhered to a piece of Solar White cardstock that had been cut and embossed with the largest Spendid Circle die.

One 2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of white cardstock was embossed with the new Flower Fun M-Bossabilities folder that had been inked up with New Sprout Memento Ink. A 4 1/4″ wide strip of white cardstock was then cut and embossed with a Classic Edge 2 and a Classic Decorative Inserts 5 die. The strip was adhered under the embossed strip, which was then adhered to a 4 1/4″ white cardstock square that had been embossed with the same embossing folder, this time inked up with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The edges were stitched before the layers were adhered to a 1/8″ bigger piece of green cardstock.

Aqua Sheer Ribbon was threaded through one of the openings of the Splendid circle die cut before the image layers were adhered to the embossed layers with dimensionals. The ribbon was tied into a bow. A tag was cut out of white cardstock with a die from the Home Sweet Home pack. A sentiment from The Good Life Tickets was stamped over it in Rich Cocoa Memento Ink and the inner part was airbrushed with Copic Marker Y17. The tag was tied to the bow with embroidery thread and a button.

The layers were adhered to the card base which was created out of Solar White cardstock, cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die. Rhinestones from the Sleek Strips Silver Rhinestones and part of a Fancy That! Border Bling finish off the card.

I hope you have time to participate in the challenge. While not easy (I love using patterned paper), it’s fun and you could win free digital images. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs and smiles
