I made this card last night. But it was too dark to take a picture.

I did the same Ways to use it challenge, but a different layout from Amy Westerman’s  Super Sketch Challenges. This one is #4.

I apologize fo always using the Petals & Paisley Designer paper. I will switch soon I promise. I ordered gorgeous paper from both Starlitstudio  as well as Eclectic Paperie  . I can’t wait to get my hands on some Basic Grey and Crate paper. I know I am a bit late to jump on that. But I just got over my “using non SU product guilt”. LOL Now I want all those gorgeous products out there!

For this card I used the Flower die cut from Cuttlebug again and covered them with Petals & Paisley designer paper.  I added a strip of different paper from that pack on the right hand side of my chocolate chip card and topped it with a greeting from the Spring mini Off The Chart  stamp set from Stampin’ Up!.

I added a little Stampin’ Up! ribbon on the bottom, some Starlitstudio brads in the center of the flower and my Thank you card was done!

  1. That’s really cute! I wasn’t sure about that set, but I like what you did with it. I know what you mean about the non SU product guilt. I felt it too, but since I started blogging I think it helped me get over it. There are some amazing company’s out there with great product. I’m really getting into a muse. Stampin’ Up! will always be closest to my heart. Hee. 🙂

  2. Hi Beate,
This is a lovely card. I know what you mean about the non-SU guilt. I too just got over it. I still LOVE SU! but there are so many beautiful things out there that SU! doesn’t sell that are just must haves. The nice thing is, most of my cards still use A LOT of SU! product.
I am really enjoying your blog. Thanks so much for sharing with and inspiring all of us.

  3. Great card! I don’t mind the patterned paper one bit! 🙂

  4. Wonderful card and I love the P&P paper!

  5. Whooo Hoooo! You know I love this one Beate! I really like what you are doing with those cuttlebug flowers! 🙂

  6. Lovely card. Great color combo. Seems to be my favorite these days. :o)I’ve been thinking about getting that stamp set… TFS!

  7. You are right…about using non-Su! products. There are some great items out there….just love all those new papers, those flowers, etc. Keep it coming…and maybe I’ll get over my guilt too! As for flowers in my garden, all are nice because I like the splash of colors, the unique designs…But the easier they are to care for the better I like them!
