  15. I wandered over from the My Scrapbook Library blog…
I can’t help but want to thank you for your service to our country that you mentioned, both that your husband is doing and for the wives and children, all of the family members, who make due without their husband, daddy, brother, son, and on & on, for the time span that they are serving all of us, keeping our country safe. So, thank you from our family to yours! My 20 year -old cousin is probably in Iraq now, he got on a plane yesterday morning. We will miss him, but we thank God for the brave and caring men and women who serve. Hugs!, Stacey

  16. Beate,
I’ve posted on your blog before and I just want you to know that all of military wifes are faced with it at some point or another, but you know what? It is so true what Emily said. It will make you stronger. At first you are not sure how, but believe me I have been there too, and you will be amazed, but most of all your hubby will be amazed on how well you and the family are handling it. You will be his rock and holding things together as far as the house, the bills, the kids, yourself and everything of the above. My rayer is that the time for you will fo by fast and that your husbands comes back home without harm. Kopf hoch Beate, Du bist staerker als Du denkst. Frohe Weihnachten fuer Dich und Deine Familie.

  17. Beate, I figured you were a service family as you lived in San Antonio and now at Eglin and my dad was staioned both places. While I grew up knowing nothing but military life, as an adult I can only imagine what it must be like for women who marry servicemen and face times when they are separated from that comfort and companionship. I know that you will need more than words of comfort, but if there is comfort in words, please know that you have touched lives with your stamping artistry beyond that which you can fathom.

You are a very special person and I hope to meet you one day as I live not too far away in southeast Alabama. My prayers are with you and your family throughout these times and those that are to come. Please know that you have an entire cyber community of friends to reach out to when you need help. Do not be afraid to ask. We are closer than you think! Donna
