Sorry for not posting. Guess where we were today?

foot-in-water.jpgrebecca-cold-water.jpg

As you can see, the water was super cold.

It was so nice out today that I had to go to the beach. Austin’s swimming trunks were too small. That boy grew so much since last fall. So he decided to stay home. Rebecca, Lucas and I was well as our neighbors went out and spend some time at the beach.

Then we went out to dinner at P.F.Changs! What a great Sunday!

Sorry no stamping. I started card for the Featured Stamper challenge, but it isn’t finished yet. I can hopefully share it with you tomorrow.

Have a great Sunday evening! Hugs and smiles

  1. Looks beautiful! It was a balmy 42 here today! 🙂 I’m jealous… Happy Sunday.

  2. Oh that looks dreamy. There will be NO swimming here unless you have a wet suit…even in the summer *lol* Just too cold but I certainly like to see you enjoying your Sunday like this. TFS.

  3. What an awesome Sunday with your kids! The beach looks beautiful!

  4. Lucky you! How fun! Sounds like a great day! 🙂

  5. Get out! That is awesome! It was warmer here but not that warm, probably about 42 and a little windy.

  6. FUN…FUN…FUN! We have thunderstorms and almost tornados here in OKC, OK! Sirens went off and everything…twice! That beach is so gorgeous and how blessed you are to get to live right by it!

  8. Sounds like a fun day!! I can’t wait to get to the beach, again. I’m south of you in Port St Lucie so, we can go to the beach almost year round.
Lucky you getting PF Changs!! I LOVE PF Changs!!

  9. Seems like you guys had a wonderful day – I am soooo very jealous that you got to go to the beach, it looks like a fabulous day! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex

  10. how ironic, we were going to take addy on her 1st beach trip today too but we didn’t. ran out of time while we were down there watching a soccer game and running all sorts of errands today so we didn’t get a chance to, but maybe next weekend! it was absolutely gorgeous out today!!

  11. Oh a beach trip looks like great fun! We’ll have snow until May and won’t see the sand at the beach’s edge until then. Your pictures reminds me of the warmth of the sun. 🙂

  12. it was beautiful here in California but had to go shopping with my sister for our cruise in 2 weeks…i shouldn’t complain, huh?!?
    Have a great week, Beate!

  13. Oh, how wonderful to go to the beach on Mar.2 and actually attempt to go in the water. We are truly the most blessed Canadians as far as weather is concerned (we live near Vanvouver,BC)but still would never consider going in the water yet. I did mow my lawn the other day though and it was wonderful!

  14. Ya, sure, RUB it in why dontchya?! Glad you got out and had some fun!! and PF Changs sounds fabulous right now! What I wouldn’t give for some good asian food!!! Well, that and the SUN! 😉

    Huggs,
    Jana

  16. I’m so glad that you had chance to relax yesterday !! Even though the water does look so cold, the day sure looked beautiful !! I’m trying very hard not envy you as we had cold and freezing rain weather and it’s so dreary outside too !! Ughh….oh well…Spring is only 4 – 6 WEEKS AWAY !!!

    Dance on my friend !!!

  17. Oh LOOK at that beautiful water….agh….miss it! Thanks for sharing some fun pictures! It’s nice that you all went out and enjoyed a beautiful day!

  18. Ohhh, if only! We are covered by feet of snow here and it’s super cold. That water looks so inviting! Hope you all had a fab day together. If it was like that here, I wouldn’t be stamping either! 🙂

  19. THE BEACH?! THE BEACH?!
My daughter will be SO jealous!! We moved out here to North Central Washington 5 years ago from, beautiful, sunny, San Diego, California. My daughter LOVES the beach. Next to DisneyLand the beach is her MOST favorite place to be. Well, now that she’s 14 I’d bet the beach IS her favorite place. There are plenty of lakes here but she STILL doesn’t understand HOW they can call a lake a ‘beach’….and it’s NOT the same!!
    FUN for you.
    …AND PF Changs too!! Mmmmmm–yep-definately jealous! 🙂

  20. Are you trying to drive all of us “northerners” nuts!? The water at the beach in New England is freezing in August! Never mind on March 2nd! We still have about 4 more weeks snowstorms. The beach!? Ok, I must go cry into a gallon of ice cream now. We can do that in the north since we don’t have to don bikinis for 4 more months!

  21. Ahhhhh….what a beautiful beach!! Lucky you!! I love your photos! (I can dream of being there *wink*)

  22. I spent a week with my mom at the Tops’l Resort the first week of February. It was fairly warm then, but not as nice as it is now, I bet.

  23. Oh my goodness! How lucky you are! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I am wishing we lived there…it’s about to get cold here again! 🙂 Take care and have a great night! 🙂

  24. hey beate!
we were at the beach on sunday too! we go to cocoa though…not sure what beach you all are closest too!
it’s so nice living so close to the ocean, huh?
    smiles!

  25. what a fun day!! i dream about p.f. chang’s fried rice!! it’s amazing!

  26. It sounds like you had an almost perfect day! Is that your beautiful foot in the first photo? Did Rebecca ever get completely wet? We have snow today so it really looked VERY cold to see the ocean. When children grow so fast doesn’t it seem as though you should have been able to see it actually happening?
    TFS.

  27. P.S. Tell Rebecca I love her swimsuit, she makes it look sooooooo cute!!
