Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your kind words, emails and posts during my long summer break.
I had a wonderful time with my kids. We went to a lot of movies (Iron Man and Mamma Mia! were my personal favorites), visited the local waterpark weekly and just played and had fun.
Rick is still in town until Sunday, so I decided to post the first sketch next Friday! I am sorry about the delay, but my days with my handsome husband are too few and precious.
We were in San Antonio all last week visiting Rick’s family. I didn’t have internet during that time and only placed my first order from the new catalog last night (YIKES). I can’t wait to get my new stamps. They are so pretty!
The kids start school on Monday. I hope I will be back with daily new posts soon. Thanks so much for being patient with me.

Hey Beate! Yes, we have missed you!! I’m glad you had a great summer with your family. After all, that is the most important thing you could be doing! I thought our summer was going to be low key, and it ended up being anything but! I think I only got 2 cards made this whole summer. I basically ended up taking the summer off too! It will be nice to have a little time to myself again. I made the kids’ teachers cards for Back to school night last night. It felt really good to do something creative again!! Welcome back!
