I have to admit. I slipped back in summer laziness. I had a friend over on Friday and Saturday and Sunday I just read. No new shares.
Thank goodness Fay didn’t arrive here until Saturday. But besides gusty wind and rain we didn’t get hit hard. We are still expecting rain and thunderstorms until Wednesday, but nothing like the East and the South of Florida experienced. My thoughts and prayers are for everyone there.
I made this pouch a while ago while writing the tutorial for SCS.
I remember making this fold back in elementary school to use as a cup.
It’s a perfect little pouch to give away small goodies and show off the beauty of the double sided paper.
I used a 8 1/2″ square of Bella Rose Designer Paper, the large flower from the Pretties Kit along with a button from the new Designer Button assortment.
Wednesday evening my new stamps should arrive. I can’t wait. Too bad our street is always one of the last ones on the UPS route! But at least the stamps are coming.
Don’t judge me about the size of the order. LOL. My September order will be just as big. I can’t help myself. I want it all!!! Here is what I ordered:

We used to make that as a cup too – but never so pretty as that.

Cute project – I have been making these since elementary school as well but I always forget how cute they can be! On another matter, I am relieved to see that you ordered many of the same stamp sets that I did so that when you do fabulous things with them, as you always do, I will already own them and they won’t cost me more money! And I am dying to see what you will create with the Big Shot!

I just opened my order and can’t wait to mount the stamps and get busy creating with them….well after I find my mojo…where does it go when one goes on vacation? lol
I haven’t been watching Fay since it left my area (outside Jacksonville, FL), but the worst for us was when it was moving away! I had a Make n Take scheduled on Friday night with 19 ladies!! And there were 3 tornatos in our area during the party!! Well, they were about 8 miles to the East, heading North. But we were freaked out. However, since we were cooped up in the house for 3 days with non-stop rain, everyone HAD to get out of the house so most of the ladies still came. 5 decided not to come over with the weather, but 1 more person showed up at the last minute. So there were 15 women…we had a great time!
I hope you weather has already improved. We still have some power outages!
