I am sorry I have been so quiet. I had a tough weekend. Besides being busy with working on the Holiday Blitz on SCS, Rick received news where he would be stationed next. He was told he would have to stay on another year. I was devastated. So were the kids. He called a day later very mad, telling me that his collegues played a joke on him. That was no joke. That was plain mean. So we are back to waiting to find out where we will be moving to next summer.

Now I seem to have caught a cold. I am behind on everything and I just can’t find the energy to create. Sorry! I promise I will check out your samples for this challenge as soon as I can.

Thank you to all who participated in the challenge. I am sure your samples are wonderful!

Random.org picked #97 as the winner of last weekend’s sketch. That is Tracy Schultz, with this beautiful card.

You can see more of Tracy’s work on her blog Who is Tracy.

  1. Some friends!! Take care of yourself and get better, Beate!

  2. Ah no, that is really mean. That sort of thing is too serious for jokes like that. Sorry about your cold, too. Take it easy – I think it’s better to rest and get over it quickly than try to do more than you need to, and then it drags on.

  3. Hope you are getting some rest and feel better soon!

  4. That is a mean joke to play on someone! Could thing it was just that, though – a bad joke.

I’m just bouncing back from a cold myself. Those suckers can really take the life out of you, don’t they?

Take care, and feel better soon!

  13. I hope Rick gave them all a kick in the pants. SO not funny. We are all sick here as well and it’s doing me good to take a bit of a break. I’m trying to get through the X-mas rush and it’s giving ME a bit of a kick in the pants…
