To enter in the drawing for this prize, just leave a comment under this post. Tell me what you do with your retired supplies, or with sets you haven’t used in a long time. Do you keep collecting or do you purge like me? I will pick a winner on the January 3rd with the help of random.org. Thanks so for stopping by!
Happy New Year! Hugs and smiles
P.S.: I am so sorry! I posted this a day early! I apologize. The other blogs will post tonight at midnight.

  1. Happy New Year Beate! I have done some recycling of craft items and stamps to the preschool my nephews went to. I have 2 more years before the next one goes, but have started another box to take out there soon!! Thanks for the chance to win 🙂

  2. I’m a collector of stamp sets and dies. They are never outdated for me. Love them all even if I don’t use them. I will someday.

  3. Such a generous giveaway, Beate! 🙂 I always give away products I don’t use 🙂 I believe that there’s no need in keeping things just because I bought them when there’s a good chance that somebody else will actually use them and not just keep them 🙂 Have a great New Year’s Eve! 🙂

  4. I purge! I give stuff away and have an annual garage sale. There always seems to be more though 🙂 Wishing you a Happy New Year and many thanks for all you share!

  5. Happy New Year Beate! I tend to keep my older stuff and know I should not. I did get rid of some of the bigger stuff just a couple of weeks ago which made me very proud of myself. It felt so good so maybe I will do more of it!

  6. Hi Beate, I was just stopping by to wish you and your family a Happy New Year! I hope that 2013 brings you all plenty of good health and happiness!!!

I’m ready to start cleaning out my old supplies too….give them to a home that will give them some love…lol!

  7. Happy New Year, Beate! I put my older stuff into a Stamping Box for my two granddaughters. They love making cards like their Nana!

  8. I am a newbie and just started card making this year. I see many good ideas for cleaning out old supplies. Thank you for the chance to win the generous give away! Happy New Year!

  9. Love your blog. When I tire of a product, I usually give it to Goodwill so that someone else can make something beautiful with it. Have a Happy New Year.

  10. First I offer stamp set or in one instance old die cutting machine (lever-remember) to friends then if they don’t want or need I bring to my stamping class and offer it there. purging is good sometimes.

  11. Happy New Year, Beate! Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration you send my way. You know how much I love your work. Hoping that 2013 will be a year of abundance for you and yours!

  12. Ohhh I have a hard time purging but when I do they are passed on to a friend or the local kids club. Thanks for the chance.

  13. What a fun hop idea! I purge as I don’t have room too keep everything. I bless my goodies with teachers/staff I work with, daycares and anyone else who can use it. I would rather bless someone with it than trying to sell it and keep track of shipping etc when possible.

  14. Happy New Year! I only have old supplies- lol! I never have current stuff . I do purge occasionally but mostly stamps, not supplies-

  15. I can’t part with anything seems like so I keep all my old things!

  16. Wow!

What a long list of bloggers – this is going to be fun! Wishing you a Happy New Year! You are a lovely and special person and I wish for you all good things in the coming new year! I look forward to another year of Beate’s beautiful creations!

    Hugs,

    Barbara Diane

  17. Happy New Year and thanks for the chance to win some goodies!!! AT this time, I don’t have enough stamping stuff to consider purging, much less retired stuff…maybe one day!

  18. I confess – I keep everything. Well, except when I got Big Shot I gave my Cuttlebug to my oldest grand daughter with a couple folders.

  19. I dont think I have enough to retire any yet, but I do use just about everything I have. When I thnk of what I want to do I grab the stamps, etc. , and put them on my craft desk so I dont forget before I make the time to spend having fun.

  20. I am embarrassed to admit I’m a stamp and die hoarder!! I keep everything!! I know I should purge but I just can’t seem to let go of them :/ I need to do some serious de-cluttering in my craft room…maybe a new year resolution??!!

I hope you and your family have a safe and joyous New Year’s Celebration my friend!! I look forward to all of the amazing and inspiring projects you will create in 2013!!

    Hugs, Lisa

  21. Depends what kind of stash it is, I either give it away or sell it on.

  22. A very happy New Year to you Beate!

  23. Love this blog and this blog hop! Always enjoy looking at your work.

  24. I keep meaning to ‘purge’ but never quite get around to it 🙂 Maybe I’ll make that my resolution?

  25. I have been donating some of my “extra” supplies to various people or organizations that could use some extra crafting supplies. Thanks for a chance to win. Happy New Year!

  26. I really do need to purge, but I can’t bear to part with it, lol

  27. I put stuff in harder to find areas of my craft room, but I don’t get rid of them – not yet anyway! And I really should! Love your stye, Beate!

  28. Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas, Beate! I thoroughly enjoy your blog! I am a bit of a hoarder, I am afraid! I get attached to so many of my stamps, etc., that retire. It really depends on what it is – how attached I am to it, etc. I do eliminate and donate some things. Or share with my daughter. But I do have a collection that I enjoy pulling from for inspiration. Thanks for the opportunity to win blog candy 🙂 Sue

  29. Wow!! Great blog hop, Beate!! Many thanks to you for all of your great inspiration! Love your work!!

  30. Honestly, I don’t have a lot of old supplies, but when I do some I give away and others I sell.

  31. Happy New Year Beate and thanks for the generous giveaway. I am getting better at purging from my stash. I usually go to a few weekend crops throughout the year and we’ve started setting up a “recycle” table and a yard sale table to help find our unwanted goodies new homes. I hate to throw anything away.

  32. Happy New Year Beate!!!
    God Bless 🙂

  33. I give my little used craft items to my son’s school. The teachers can then divvy up what they want. The only thing I have a problem letting go is my paper. I am a paper hoarder. I do end up using it eventually! Thanks for the chance to win.

  34. I always create beautiful projects, with retired supplies.

  35. I’m taking a break from cleaning & purging right now. How did you know? I usually sell things I no longer use at my LSS. We have a garage sale every spring. Some of the items I take to school for my students. They love creating with them. Happy New Year!

  36. I keep on using mine! I find it hard to let go!

  37. hi,
how awesome that so many are sharing their goodies. for the most part it doesn’t matter to me if something is retired. if I like it I keep it. if on the other hand I really liked it and got two or more of them, I pass them on to someone who can newly love them. thanks for the chance to win.

  38. Oh gosh, I definitely collect. 🙁 That’s probably why my family is starting to call me a scrap hoarder! LOL.

  39. Happy New Year! I am just starting to build a collection, so don’t have much to give away. The few duplicates I get (usually gifts) I share with friends that also stamp.

  40. I collect. I used to purge but then I would need something for a card and it would be something I had purged. So now I collect.

  41. I tend to collect things for my card collection. Every now and again I give things to my daughter-in-law and my two daughters who also make cards. They know I have a lot of stamps so my daughters will borrow my things and go through my paper and scraps.

  42. Such a generous person you are! Love to win your goodies. Happy New Year Beate

  43. Happy New year, beth, good bless you. In this moment I prepare a list of my old things
And I give to my sister betania, or sell on a garage craft. Thanks for a beautifull page, ideas and cards

  44. I have not been at this as long as some of you. But I have collected more than I need. I have started giving items away as gifts and doorprize. Thank you for all your wonderful idea.

  45. lol I keep everything, but sometimes I do splurge and I also sometimes share with my grandkids as they love to stamp. They are all under the age of 7.

  46. I have a hard time parting with anything! I have in the past gotten rid of some stamps that were being neglected! Thanks for the chance to win!

  47. Hi, I am way to new at this to have anything old, but I do share some of my papers and things with my friend who wants to start making cards. Thanks for the opportunity to win some things.

  48. Happy New Year Beate.

I have had several culls of stamps that I haven’t used (and probably won’t) and give them to my friends. As for Spellbinders dies…I don’t care if they are retired or not, I’ll still use them. I’m addicted to my dies 🙂

  49. Oh my, I have the hardest time getting rid of anything and that goes for supplies and stamp sets. I occasionally go through my printed papers and embellishments…and will donate some to my daughter or her Mom’s group. I also donate to the Senior center where i teach cardmaking. As for stamp sets though, I think I still have the very first stamp I ever bought!!

  50. This sounds like fun. I pass my loved but unused supplies on to other paper crafters. We have a group of 12 stampers who have been meeting monthly for seven years. There is always someone in the group who is willing to open their studio to give a stamp, die cut, or tools good home. 🙂

  51. this is so much fun. very new with this blog hop , new at card making, stamping and scrapbooking so amazing to see lots of inspiration

  52. Happy New Year Beate!! This is a great way to celebrate the occasion too! I love my Spellbinders and all things paper crafting related! BUT….I do share when I get overloaded! I either take excess to a Senior Center or After School program. They always love playing with whatever I bring!!! Puts a smile on everyone’s face!

  53. Better early than not at all! Thanks for your part in the blog hop…this is fun! Your cards are very elegant…nicely done! Have a happy and safe New year!

  54. Happy New Year! When I tire of something I’ll either give it to a friend or put it in my annual garage sale. Sometimes I’ll use it for blog candy too.

  55. give them to my girlfriend for her daughter to play with and give away 🙂 !! Happy New Year Thanks for the chance !!!

  56. I love the Spellbinders goodies! Happy New Year!!!

  57. Hi, Beate!!! I am still a newer one to the cardmaking world, so am building a collection. What I don’t use I ‘gift’ to others. May you be richly blessed, always. Thank you for the opportunity to win 🙂

  58. I always “purge” to my DIL. Sometimes, she likes to “shop” in my craft room! hehehe – smart girl!

    Happy New Year!

  59. Happy New Year! Thanks for so much inspiration and for the chance to win. Have a great 2013. Love, Jocelyn [email protected]

  60. Beate, I’d love to be included in a chance to win your lovely stamp sets! Unfortunately, I am not in the position to give away or dispose of any of my supplies since I am relatively new to this stamping thing, and I love it and want to use all my stamps for a variety of projects. A very Happy New Year for you!

  61. Thanks for a chance to win nice supplies. Happy New Year!

  62. Thanks for the chance! I host stamping parties at my house for friends, so usually keep supplies for my kids and friends to use. I also give them to the arts dept. at local schools.

  63. The early bird gets the worm! It’s okay to post early, thank you for the greay blog candy! I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Happy New Year. Becky

  64. Beate,

Thank you for playing with the blog hop. I’ve really enjoyed nosing around your blog, you are so talented!

  65. Thank you for the chance to win. Have a happy and healthy new year.

  66. I enjoy your blog so very much, and you are giving away great prizes, retired or not! I am afraid I have too many older stamp sets but I still use most of them in my daily card making. Thanks for asking & offering the prize to the lucky winner!

  67. What a fabulous and fun idea to start off 2013 with these wonderful giveaways! Thanks for the chance to win … Good Luck everyone … and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  68. What a great way to start 2013. Definitely don’t have that spellbinders die in my collection. Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge and inspiration with us. Happy New Year and thanks for a chance to win a great giveaway.

  69. I keep everything! Thanks for the opportunity, once again, Beate. Happy new year!

  70. Happy New Year! I try to get to my stamps/supplies that I haven’t used in a while. Although I am really thinking of giving some stuff away! I usually don’t buy anything I don’t use eventually!

  71. I too collect all my unused supplies and stamps….someday I may use them!

  72. Beautiful card as always Beate. I’m a huge fan of yours! I unfortunately am collecting more and more craft supplies and not purging but need to. Happy New Year! Thanks so much for the chance to win! Love Spellbinders

  73. I love all your creations and especially your tutorials, since I’m a visual learner. I’m new to card making so I don’t really have anything old to purge but if I did I would donate to a local community center along
with other things I have given them.
Thanks for the chance to win!!
    Happy New Year!!

  74. I should purge…I’ve given a few older sets to my mom & aunt, but I keep most. What if I want to use them again?!? Oh well, at least I’ve gotten most out of those large containers. Thanks for the chance!

  75. Happy New Year!
I finally moved into a house this weekend where I will be able to have a craft room. So, I am excited to be able to finally use my beautiful supplies. And yes, there will also be some purging to make sure I can see everything 🙂

  76. I hate to admit it but continue to hoard my craft supplies. My granddaughters always find something exciting to work with in my craft room.

  77. I must try some of the goodies I have stored away. Happy new year.

  78. I am fairly new to making cards and I love it but I do not have to many supplies yet but if I did I would try to share them with fellow crafters or perhaps donate them for my churches garage sale..

    Blessings,
    Kathleen

  79. Happy New Year! Thanks for all your great inspiration and a chance to win a great prize. I sell my retire supplies at a used stamp sale that my LSS hosts twice a year. We have another store that sells gently used products on consignment.

  80. I try, although usually fail, to take my unused or retired items to get-togethers with other crafters and either sell or gift them. Some, however, are too special to get rid of so they stay in my over-abundant stash…

Thank you for always inspiring me with your amazing creations! Happy New Year!

  81. Happy New Year and thank you for the opportunity to win such great items. I tend to hang onto my items for a while, then I will go through, take out the ones I don’t use as often, take them to a yard sale but usually wind up getting something from others at the sale.

  82. Well, I must admit that for the most part I keep everything. I have given away some of my expendables to friends from time to time, but I’ve never gotten rid of any of my tools and fundamentals. As soon as I would do that I would find a need for it. I need to go through my craft room and look and see what I might could sell or give away. Since I don’t have a space problem yet, I think that keeps me hanging on to my treasurers.

  83. Hello Beate, You are always so very kind! I myself have a limited supply of products due to budget and space, but the product that I don’t use for a while I end up giving to my 6 yr. Old daughter who loves to craft and might I say is very good at it. Not that I don’t share everything anyways, but we each have our own cart on wheels and our craft space consists of our kitchen. Thank you for this giveaway! Hugs Traci ;0)

  84. I guess you could say I’m a hoarder!! I know I always have the right stamp or embellishment somewhere in my stash but to find it… I love your style and ideas and look forward to new fresh items for 2013

  85. Wonderful prize package! I confess that I’m a bit of a hoarder but I’m planning to remedy that as a New Year’s resolution!

  86. Great prize package. Happy New Year!

  87. When I tire of something I usually swap it with my mom for something she has. Thanks for the chance to win and the ideas.

  88. Retired supplies….never heard of them…I try to use what I have and revisit them.

  89. What a great blog hop. I’m new to card making so I will not have ‘too much’ for a long time. Thanks so much. Happy New Year!

  90. Thanks for the chance to win. Happy New Year!!!!

  91. I’m bad about letting my stuff sit for a while thinking Ill get to it again. When I finally do purge, I get rid of a lot of stuff at once.

  92. A Happy New Year’2013 to you Beate. Thanks for this opportunity to win. I’ve not been blogging for quite a while due to PC issues. Hope to get back soon. I have very limited supplies all either sent as RAK or won. I do not get any craft supplies here.

  93. I am quite new to card making so I am still in awe of everything I have and test tham all out on a regular basis. I am slowly building up my supplies but I don’t yet feel that I want to put anything into retirement yet! Thank you for sharing all of your ideas and I would like to wish you a very happy new year.

  94. Oohh, I have such a hard time purging my supplies. Some “bargains” I’ll keep for my grandchildren to play with when they are old enough…stamps….just keep on collecting. Thanks for the chance to win. Happy New Year.

  95. Happy New Year and thanks for the opportunity to win some great stamping goodies!! I need to be better at purging to make room for new and exciting sets!

  96. A happy new year with a lot of creativity! I’ve still all the stuff I’ved bought, but maybe I have to get rit of it too by celling some stuff. I’m glad we can win such a great price thanks a lot!!

  97. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year!

  98. Happy New Year and thanks for the chance to win such fab prizes. I pass my crafty stuff onto my local school for them to ‘play’ with :o) x

  99. Great “BIG” blog hop and candy. Happy New Year

  100. Great cards and I love the blog candy!

  101. I do give away things I haven’t used for a long time. Usually to teachers who can use the extra supplies or to my kids. Happy new year.

  102. Great give away! One day at a time, may you and yours have everything you need for a blessed and happy New Year!

  103. Happy New Year, dear friend! I donate to three places regularly: our local animal shelter has a thrift shop that I donate to, we have a woman’s safe house that I donate to & do volunteer workshops at, and a YMCA about 45 min. from here. Usually, when I get a paper pad, I go through it, pull out a sheet or two of every pattern, and ‘share’. Have a great day!

  104. With my old stickers, my DD loves momma’s ‘special’ stickers. I ‘clean’ out my extra, older supplies and give them to my friends, who are just starting out.

    great prize!

  105. I have learned so much from your tutorials since I started papercrafting! Happy New Year and thanks for a chance to win!

  106. Love your stuff!

  107. This is such a fun blog hop!!! I’m a saver, I can’t seem to get rid of things even when they retire! 🙂 Happy New Year!!

  108. Happy New Year!

I usually keep retired items. I figure I bought them because I liked them, so they don’t need to be current for me to use them. Once in awhile I list a few things on E-bay if they are items I haven’t used for awhile.

  109. I “hoard” it all…I can’t stand to part with it…..and get great pleasure when I bring out something old to use, it makes me feel good…weird I know, but I just can’t let go…but sure am glad not everyone is like me…lol….and no, I don’t hoard cats…yet…lol!!

  110. I’m kind new so I don’t have much of a stash…slowly building..Happy New Year!

  111. I hold a craft “garage sale” in my home and invite all my friends! They love it and I have room for more! 🙂

  112. I pass all of my older equipment to a 10 year old girl I know who is just starting to get into rubber stamping,. With some encouragement I hope to have a new stamp buddy.

  113. I try to purge some of my supplies annually when our local stamp store has a “garage sale”. We then get credit at her store for whatever she sells for us. Then I can stock up again:)

  114. Hi Beate, what a great way to start the new year of. I try to do like you, and that´s pretty easy as I have 5 granddaughters, who I´ve all got interested in cardmaking, and they always needs stuff too, as they don´t have much money to buy a lot, so there´s always some to use, what I can´t ha ha ha.
Thanks sooo much for the chance here.

  115. Lovely giveaway. Happy New Years!

  116. I hang on to all of my stamps sets, I almost can’t bear to part with them! I don’t have tons and tons, though!
If I haven’t used a set in a while, I try to find inspiration and a way to use it again!
Thanks for the chance to win!
    Happy New Year!

  117. Hi Beate!!! It’s so fun to see familiar faces on this hop!!!! I am “ohmypaper!” on SCS. Love watching your videos! Thanks for offering such a great prize pkg! Wishing you much success and happiness in 2013!!!

  118. Thanks for the chance to win! Happy New Year!

  119. These are some awesome goodies. Thank you so much for the chance.

I will not go into it, but I lost all of my supplies a couple years ago and since getting back into crafting there is not enough to purge at this point.

    Happy New Year, hun!

  120. Happy New Year! What a great way to start 2013!

  121. What a sweet and fun giveaway! Happy New Year to you!!!

  122. I just love your blog Beate :). Thanks for a chance at this wonderful prize. Have a Happy New Year!:)

  123. Great giveaway. Thanks for a chance to win.

  124. Love visiting your blog! Happy 2013!

  125. Happy New year! Some of the old sets that I never use I try to give away, if not to family then friends and if I can’t find a home for the supplies I sell them in yard sales or other ways. Thanks for the awesome start to the new year.

  126. Happy New Year and thanks for the chance at your giveaway. I give my supplies to my stamping friends.
    slrdowney at hotmail dot com

  127. I like to do RAKS, to clean out my stash. Its gfreat surprising fellow crafty friends with goodies. Thanks for sharing. Have a Blessed 2013!
    [email protected]

  128. Happy New Year! I have trouble getting rid of anything that I have bought. I have slowed down with buying stamp sets, but am now collecting punches and dies. If I really feel that I have a stamp set that I do not really want anymore, I usually give it to my granddaughter or nieces and nephew, infecting the next generation! 🙂

  129. I try to sell some of the stamps that I don’t use. Some I can’t part with. Paper and embellies get gifted to schools. Thanks for the chance to win.

  130. I keep all my stuff because I live 3 hours from the nearest craft store. I know i’ll use it someday! Better to have it now and not have it later!

  131. I hate to part with any of my goodies but once is a while I do a little purge to make room for all the new goodies I want to buy!

  132. I love all your creations and thanks for sharing,What wonderful goodies:))Happy 2013 to you and I follow you all the time:)))

  133. I’m a collector. I’m planning on going through my things to purge, though.

  134. Great prize! Unfortunately I’m a pack rat so I don’t get rid of anything. You never know when you may have a need for it 🙂

  135. Was forced to clean out some stamp sets this past fall, running out of room. Very hard to part with stamps, but need to make room for new sets.

  136. So Fun, Happy New Year!

  137. Thanks for the chance to win! ~Happy New Year!~

  138. I keep on using, I don’t have the money to keep buying so some I use as always others I try to modify with new details. I do lots of cards and have paper for years ago so dig it out and try again to renew it.

  139. Thanks for the chance to win the goodies

  140. I just can’t part with anything. :). I keep telling myself that I NEED to let some things go but I just seem to do it

  141. This is an amazing blog hop and so many fun things to see along the way. I love your New Years Card by the way!

  142. Thanks for sharing….inspiration and your “purge.” I purge my stuff on a regular basis too and if it’s still usuable, I pass it along to a crafter who’ll love it or I donate it to someone – I helped get an “arts & crafts” club started at my new middle school this past fall so that’s where a lot of my recent purge has gone. We made enough money selling Christmas cards we made to donate $700 to our local food bank and also help a community we support overseas.

  143. Thanks for the chance to win and Happy New Year!

  144. Im a hoarder not a purger!!! By the way LOVE your Ali Edwards card with the hearts!

  145. Love this Beate your cards always amaze me!

  146. great cards thanks for sharing.

  147. Funny thing…I purge everything else, but have a hard time letting go of my craft supplies. When I do, i give stuff to my grand kids to create with or my grand daughters day care, they love it! Thanks for the chance to win.

  148. Transform the chance to win super goodies. Don’t have much retired. The stamps sold, and papers have away. Been doing cards again 2 years and not accumulated much ‘old’.

  149. Always love your creations. So lovely. Thanks for the chance of winning all this stuff.

  150. I only purge things that are definitely “purgeable”! If there is any question in my mind of the “purgeability” of an item, it is “non-purgeable” for now. It may become permanently “non-purgeable” or it may join the “purgeables” later on. It has to shout at me “PURGE ME!” to be gone.
    Love your ideas!
    Laura

  151. I agree – what a fun way to ring in the new year! I’d love to give your blog candy collection a new home; thanx for both the inspiration and blog candy opp!

  152. What an awesome hop. Love it.

  153. I give my supplies to my sister–she’s short on funds.

  154. I am new to crafting, so I don’t have extras.

  155. I’ve never really had enough stuff to purge but when I get to that point I’ll probably just donate to my church card making group. Happy New Year.

  156. Happy New Year Beate. Thanks for the chance to win your amazing giveaway package.

  157. My mother was a sewer and hoarded fabric. My sister was into stained glass and sewing and hoarded glass and fabric. Me – I think of myself as a renaissance crafter and hoard way too much of everything. Amongst that are things that I think I will repurpose. Those are going to be purging this year! If I can dig myself out of it. And maybe I will have some time left over to create more with what I have. Happy New Year to you and yours!

  159. I find that after a while if I haven’t used something, I tend to give it away. I don’t have much luck trying to sell things, and I feel better giving them to people who will enjoy using them anyhow. 🙂

  256. Love the card and the sentiment is so true! What do I do with my old stuff…well I hadn’t thought of it really. I do have a lot and haven’t had time to get it all organized to see what is old and won’t be used. I have some paper pads that are stored away in cabinets that I haven’t even looked at in over 6 years. I guess that should be one of my resolutions! clear out what I won’t use and donate it to a local charity. I know just the one too. So you have helped me to decide…thanks.
    Happy New Year!

  258. You are sure popular!!! Happy New Year.

  259. I hoard my supplies and keep buying more. Kind of scary. I just started re-organizing my craft room for the umptennth time and now have started to go through and jot things down in order to purge. It’s just hard to get rid of my tools (stamps, card stock, scrapbooking supplies, die cutting machines, and on and on and on). I need to clear my desk in order to create. Getting and staying organized is my new year’s resolution. LOL! 🙂
Wish me luck. I’ll probably break my resolution within the first month of the year, but I can at least try.

Thanks for the opportunity to win the giveaway. 🙂
Maybe, I should give away some of my stuff to a neighborhood school.

    Have a fabulous New Year’s Day! 🙂

  344. Happy New Year and thank you for a chance to win this prize pack 🙂

  345. I have a hard time parting with my stamp sets, though I have purged a little bit. Someday I will use them right?? Thanks for the giveaway. Happy 2013

  346. Thank you for the chance! Nice giveaway! Happy new year!

  347. I have found that it is easier to purge bling then it is to give up my stamps. Thank you for the chance to win – – and have a very blessed New Year!!

  348. Love your card! Thanks for the chance to win!

  349. Happy New Year. I’m relatively new at cardmaking so haven’t had to make the hard decision about purging yet!

  350. I usually give my retired/not using items to friends just starting out in crafting so they have something to play with and can find their own style, so they buy within their own taste and not buy something that’s popular because they don’t know the difference.

    Thanks for the chance Beate!!
    Brandy

  351. I collect to a point, after the allocated space is filled, I purge and start anew. Happy 2013

  352. wow… this is so awesome…thanks for the chance to win… adventureofthecreativemind.blogspot.com

  354. Purge….what’s that? LOL Honestly, I’m a craftaholic (stamps are my latest obsession) so I don’t know if you can ever have TOO much of anything! Organization is very, VERY important in my studio! Thanks for the chance to win!

  355. Thanks for the prizes. Love spellbinders. All the best in 2013

  356. Hi Beate, Happy 2013! Thanks for the chance to win. Hugs, Teresa

  357. I LOVE SPELLBINDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  358. Thanks for the opportunity to win. Happy New Year!

  359. Happy New Year and thank you for the chance to win some goodies. When I have supplies that I need to purge I give them to friends who craft.

  360. Thanks for the opportunity to win this prize package.I purge about once a year & I have 2 nieces who scrap that I pass my stuff along too.

  361. The only retired sets I give special attention to is the MFP ones as I need to only use current sets on my DT posts. Other than that I try to rummage through my stuff and play with it – 2013 is the year to use the golden oldies! Happy New Year.

  362. I only recently (about two years ago) started crafting, so I still feel like I’m building up my stash of supplies. But for things I feel I no longer need/use, I am going to give them to my crafty friends. So far, I’ve set just a few things aside, but I do need to go through my supplies and purge more. 🙂

  363. Thank you for the chance to win this awesome prize, love y’all!!!

Thanks for the chance to win blog candy.
    Jayne

  365. Beate, I have always loved your work. I actually keep all my retired stuff, thats probably why I am running out of room. I need to purge. Maybe for the New Year. lol Thanks for the chance to win. Happy New Year.

  366. I pass on my crafty things to my friends or church Sunday School classes but don’t do it nearly as often as I should. Happy New Year Beate!!

  367. Happy New Year Beate from Germany! Love your vids. Thanks for the chance to win a wonderful prize!

  368. I love the prize, I don’t have any of those sets already. Happy New Year to you!

  369. With wishes for a very safe, happy and creative new year to you, and many thanks for your generous part in this fantastic bloghop!

  370. Most of the time I keep them and try to find a use…if I am running out of room I will sell some/give some away.

  371. I’m a keeper of EVERYTHING, so I don’t purge too often but I’m trying to! My local stamp store has parking lot sales so that’s a great way to purge, yet also add to the collection… thanks for the giveaway!
    Happy 2013!

  372. Happy New Year! and thank you for the chance to win!

  373. I do give away stamp sets I have not used in a long time. Thanks for the great giveaway.

  374. If it’s something that I like and use a lot I keep it. If not, I purge.

Thanks for all your cool tutorials.

    Steph

  375. Happy New Year! I tend to find it hard to purge but I share alot of my consumables with my two close craft pals regularly so that helps keep things under control. As for dies, punches, stamp sets and the like, I try to use them often and also lend them to my pals and bring several along when we meet for our weekly craft night. As for alot of my older stamps sets, I have unmounted them to save space and I do still regularly use many of them. And again, I will often randomly bring some old sets when I get together with my pals so they can have some fun with them. I do continue to go through my stuff on a regular basis to see what I no longer want but it definitely wouldn’t hurt for me to get a little more brutal in my decisions of letting go of a bit more than I do. 🙂

  376. Very delicious price!
    Good luck to all!
    Roberta

  377. Oh and I forgot to mention what I do with things I dont use anymore well since im new at this that hasnt happened yet lol but if it does then first I will ask my mom and sister because they do scrapbooking and cardmaking as well but if they dont want them then I would give to goodwill 🙂

  378. Happy New Year! One of the things that I do with my older stamps is send some of them to my friends preschool for the kids to stamp with. I have also participated in stamp swaps at a local stamp store.

  379. I luv spellbinders. Thanks!

  380. Such a generous giveaway!

Thanks so much for sharing your inspiration with us (Love your latest Technique Tuesday card), and for a chance to win some goodies! Happy New Year!!!

  381. Wishing you a very Happy New Year! Such wonderful prizes …thanks for the chance to win.

  382. Beate, I always enjoy seeing what you have done. Thanks for the great blog candy. Hope I win! Happy new year!

  383. With some of my older stamps I give to my SIL, as she is a new stamper. But I need to do a purge with all my old stamps so I will be ready to move in to our new house and I can buy more. Thanks for the chance to win.

  384. Thanks for the chance to win!

  385. Hi, I don’t have a lot of stuff accumulated yet. I use everything I have, so I haven’t started to purge. I’m still in the process of acquiring, so I would love to win some more crafting stuff.

  386. Hello, I sometimes give my duplicate supplies to friends that I know will enjoy them. I still have lots of stuff and have bought some new things this past holiday season but I started to work with my stash with more zest than before… 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win! Love new things 😉

  387. Oooh fabulous giveaway! I’ve just purged my whole crafty cupboard, and anything I haven’t used in over a year gets passed to my card-making SIL!

  388. I love making cards with my Spellbinders.

  389. Purge?????? Say what????? No waaaaay!!! If my stamps could talk they probably tell others not to worry she will get to you sooner or later…..
I sooooo enjoy your blog and your tutorials.
    Jean McGee

  390. Happy New Year and Thanks!

  391. Happy New Year Beate. Thanks for the gift away. Have a wonderful year.

  392. What a fantastic giveaway you have featured. Thank you so much for the chance to win. happy New Year!

  393. Great blog candy, Beate! Tend to collect more so I can share with my sister who I encouraged to start cardmaking once she retired. Happy New Year!

  394. I keep collecting and DON’T purge….oh my!

  395. I keep collecting, need to learn to purge. Thank you for the Hop and giveaway.

  396. it’s not easy to purge but a necessity when you run out of space! lol – i generally sell used items at my LSS garage sale

  397. I’m a purger. I keep my favorites and give away my over abundance or less than favorites. My favorite place to donate to is a local school where a friend teaches children who are struggling with social skills and controlling emotions due to family issues. Nothing more therapeutic than creating I think. Thanks so much for your generosity. Sue

  398. I keep stuff. I try to give some stuff away, but I tend to buy more than I give away or discard.

  399. I love my stamps & don’t have many so i tend to hang on to them. I volunteer at an elementary school so other supplies I provide to the students and let their creative juice go wild. 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win.

  400. I have a hard time purging because I Know I will use everything eventually. But I am realizing I need to let go of the old old old stuff because there is too much new stuff I want! Thanks for the chance at your giveaway!

  401. I’m too new at this. Still collecting.

  402. I mostly collect but I’m running out of space and money so I’m going to have to start purging soon!

  403. I am still collecting. Happy New Year! Thanks for the chance to win!

  404. I just keep them, but would sell them if I didn’t hate rummage sales so much. I have really enjoyed your work on SCS over the years, Beate. Thanks!

  405. I recently purged my supplies and donated the supplies to my church pre-school. Most of the time, I collect supplies though. It’s so hard to resist when there is so much to buy. he he! Thanks for taking part in the hop.

  406. Embarrassing, but true …I’m a collector :o)
    Happy New Year!

  407. I tend to keep just about everything. I’m partner in a scrapbooking studio and we have crops with prizes on a regular basis. For the last one, I did go through my stash and pick out some things for prizes. I have way too much in the line of supplies that are duplicates and have decided that I should be keeping everything to maybe use some day, so I’m using some of them for our scrappers. Thanks for the chance to win some goodies!

  408. I’m a saver, but want to be a purger.

  409. I’m so new to card-making that I’m still amassing all the goodies!! What a fun hop! That, combined with an amazing give-away = FANTASTIC+++! Thank you for such an awesome opportunity. Wonderful start to 2013!

  410. In theory I buy and and then purge, buy an spurge but sometimes I a better at amassing and seem to skip over the purging part…ooops, maybe I’ll improve that in 2013!
I love the product giveaways…this hop is beyond AMAZING!!!! Thank you.

  411. Happy New Year! Love your work!

  412. Happy New Years!!! Thanks for the giveaway!

  413. Adorable. Great giveaway. Happy New Year!

  414. Your cards are always such an inspiration! Thanks for the chance to win Beate!

  415. Thanks for the chance to win.Happy New Year!

  416. Happy New Year! What a wonderful way to start the new year!

  417. What a fun way to start the New Year! Beautiful New Year card. Love the bling:)

  418. thanks for the chance to win. I wondered why some of the links didn’t work. thanks for letting us know!

  419. As I have yet to use everything, I keep it all!!!
Thanks for the chance to win!!! Happy New Year!

  420. I tend to give my things away. I can’t stand too much clutter. It fogs my creativity. When I have too much of something, I just give it away to someone who can make better use of it. There isn’t much sense in having things sitting around collecting dust and giving is always fun!!!

  421. I am a collector, or as my hubby says a hoarder, of dies and stamps. So a couple time a year there is a weekend crop I goto and take any of dont think I will use and trade them for other supplies. If I have no takers I donate them to my niece for future use lol thanks fo rthe chance to win.

  422. Great prize package. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

  423. This is the perfect way to start the New Year!
Thanks for sharing so many wonderful things.

  424. Thanks for the chance to win. As I don’t have that many crafty tools/stamps I keep everything and use them all the time.

  425. Great job. You always do such wonderful things.

  426. I’m pretty new to the hobby, so mostly I just keep collecting. I can definitely see purging being necessary in the future, but I don’t think I’ll purge according to whether something is retired or not — rather, whether I’ve used it and it’s still my style.

  427. Happy New Year Beate! I LOVE your cards. Your videos are fabulous. Thanks for a chance to win your wonderful prize.

  428. If I really MUST purge stamps I stamp several images on good cardstock before I give them away, that way I still have a few images to play with when the need arises…happy new year!

  429. You are such an inspiration to so many! Please continue what you do! Happy New Year!!!

  430. Happy new year to everyone
Thanks for the chance to win, I am itching to get back to crafting after this christmas break.
Can’t wait for the kids to go back to school for some me time. Our house today is like a school classroom with all the extra kids over.
    Need peace & quiet – please !!!!!
    Hugs

  431. Happy New Year Bette. Thank you for your generosity through this blog hop. I find purging a little hard when it comes to stamps I hope to use them all at some time 😀 Patterned paper however has been rehomed with my nieces who like to scrapbook

  432. I really hate to get rid of things but this year one of my resolutions is to really go through my things and donate what I really don’t need/want/use.

  433. Such a fun way to begin the year–Happy New Year!

  434. I’m a hoarder! I save it for my girls, nieces and nephews! We’re a crafty bunch and nothing gets wasted!

  435. Happy New Year! I am a recovering hoarder … 🙂 just this past year I have sorting through my older items and either using them or gifting them to up and coming crafters!!

  436. I find it difficult to get rid of anything!! Retired or not!! But I am also new to stamping so I don’t really have a whole lot!! Thank you for the chance to win!

  437. Well I am new to stamping but not scrapbooking and I just cant stand to part with anything, who knows when I may need it! LOL
