Melanie Muenchinger is now designing stamps for Gina K. !!!  Melanie is a Splitcoast Member and one of our original Dirty Dozen girls. I am so excited to see  many of our fellow SCS girls having so much success with their stamping.

When she asked me to play with her new stamp set, I was thrilled to do so.

Here is a card made with Melanie’s stamp set “Just so Hippy” and with this weekend’s sketch challenge. Check out all of Gina K.’s new released stamps!

The card base is a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Soft Sky Cardstock folded in half. On the lower half of the card front I added a 1 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ strip of Darling Doodles Designer Paper and I tied white Taffeta Ribbon around it.

I stamped the hippo on Soft Sky Prints Designer Paper with Black Palette ink.

I cut it out and added highlights with my white gel pen.

The grass is a 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ piece of Certainly Celery Prints Designer Paper. I added small cut like MaryJo does so well.

The center squares are a 2 3/4″ square of textured Groovy Guava cardstock, a 3″ square of Basic Black and a 3 1/4″ Purely Pomegranate cardstock.

The Groovy Guava and the Basic Black squares have their top corners punched with the ticket corner punch. I taped all layers together and paper pierced a border on all sides of the Groovy Guava cardstock except for the bottom one. I taped the grass strip down there and added two white brads on the top corners (Stampin’ Up! really needs some of those. Until they do, contact Cindy at Starlitstudio to get you some!)

The sentiment is from the same set and is stamped in Black Palette ink on a 1 1/4″ piece of Shimmery White cardstock circle that was layered on a 1 3/8″ Certainly Celery circle and a Basic Black Scallop circle.

Here is another sample made with Gina‘s great new set.

I started out with a 5 1/4″ x 10 1/2″ piece of chocolate chip cardstock folded in half and adhered a 5″ square of BasicGrey Blush paper over it. The edges of that paper were stamped with the Argyle stamp from All in a Row.

I punched two corners of a 2″x 4 3/4″ piece of BasicGrey Blush paper with the ticket corner punch, wrapped gorgeous May Arts ribbon around it and taped it down on the bottom of the card.  Wishing you Joy was stamped in Brown Palette ink on the bottom right. I adhered a Chocolate Chip Star punchout with dimensionals next to the greeting.

Next I added another piece of the Blush collection on the left hand side of the card. The two photo corners were punched out the the Blush Paper with Stampin’ Up!’s new Photo corner punch. I added vintage brads to that.

The main image was stamped in Brown Palette ink on Shimmery white cardstock and colored in with Taken with Teal, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, More Mustard and Soft Sky and aqua painter. I punched all four corners with the ticket corner punch and layered it on a piece of Chocolate chip cardstock. I added a doodled border with my brown Micron pen and a little ribbon flag with brad on the side. Stickles Stardust glitter added a little sparkle to the image.

Gina K. has done it again. After her beautiful set to help raise money for Autism, she is back in the saddle with another great set. This time she is raising money for the Make a Wish Foundation.

Gina was kind enough to ask me to make a few samples for this set. How could I say no? I was honored. Unfortunately the set wasn’t ready until it was my time to go on vacation back to San Antonio. What can a girl do?

Stamp with her friend, of course (after asking sweet Gina for permission). Jenn and I had fun playing with the set. It was dark when we got done, so the picture isn’t the best…..but here is one sample I made with the set. Hopefully I can share another soon.

Head on over to Gina’s Stamp for a Cause  page, be dazzled by her set and help her raise money for this worthy cause.

Hugs!!!
