Sorry I am posting so late. I completely forgot. I didn’t get to stamp yesterday!

Thanks for all the well wishes for Lucas. He has a dry rash on his face for about 6 weeks now. We tried to use Hydrocortizone, but that didn’t help at all. So we got it checked out and hopefully got better medicine for it now.

I made this card for last Saturday’s Inspiration challenge and Tuesday’s color challenge on SCS. It was also my first sample made with the weekend sketch. But since I had flipped it and switched the square on the bottom right with a tiny oval (and wanted to play with my preorder stamps), I showed you the Cardinal card first.

The card base is a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Bashful Blue cardstock folded in half.

Next is a 3 3/4″ square of Whisper White cardstock, followed by a 3 1/2″ square of Tempting Turquoise.

I inked up a swirl from the Brocade background stamp in Whisper White craft ink and embossed it with with white embossing powder. Next the edges of that layer were paper pierced.

A 1 3/8″ strip of Whisper White cardstock was punched on both long sides with the Scallope edge punch and adhered over both the white and turquoise layers. Striped Bashful Blue Ribbon was tied around the layers.

The sentiment is from Flight of the Butterfly. It was stamped with Tempting Turquoise on Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the small oval punch. I taped it on the right bottom of the layers, letting the oval hang off just a bit.  That overhanging piece was cut off, the rest of the oval was paper pierced. Last I attached an Ice Circle Rhinestone to the right of the sentiment.
