Good morning! Sorry I didn’t post yesterday! I simply forgot!

I did work most of the day. But…Sundays I am busy with working on the SCS newsletter besides SCS daily emails. I also wrote my next tutorial.  In between working I hung out with my friend Cheryl. She is my neighbor and is also a military wife. She is moving in two weeks. I am NOT looking forward to that!

Anway….Here is another card I made with the Level 1 Hostess set Punches Three.

I cut the card base with the largest Square Nestabilities out of Bravo Burgundy ardstock.

Next is a 3 1/2″ square of Very Vanilla followed by a 3 1/4″ square of retired Always Artichoke Prints Designer Paper. The edges were paper pierced. On the top right I added a double photo corner. The larger corner was punched out of Bravo Burgundy cardstock, the smaller one out of Vanilla cardstock that was stamped with the Paisley background stamp in Burgundy ink. Three Always Artichoke brads topped off the corners.

I stamped a 1 3/4″ x  3 1/2″ piece of Bravo Burgundy with Paisley in Burgundy ink. Both long sides were punched with the Scallop Edge Punch. That strip was taped on the lower half of the Artichoke/Vanilla layers and 5/8″ wide Vanilla grosgrain ribbon was tied around it. I paper pierced a hole in each of the scallops.

The Christmas stamp from Punches Three was stamped twice, once in Bravo Burgundy, and once in Always Artichoke on Very Vanilla cardstock. The Artichoke image was punched out with the new scallop square punch. From the Burgundy image I punched out the sentiment with the small oval punch. I sponged the edges and adhered it to the Artichoke punchout. I punched a wide oval layer out of Burgundy cardstock and sponged the edges.  The Artichoke punchout was adhered to that oval and all layers together were attached to the card front with dimensionals.

I love this card! It is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

  2. Wow Beate! This is a gorgeous card! How long does it take you to make one card? It looks like it took hours and hours to create. I really like the scallops for the edges of the card, and all the paper piercing is great! The sentiment is also SO Pretty! Love it all!

  3. I need to be on the PC and not the laptop to see the colours truly, but the stamped photo corner is a really neat idea. Sorry to hear you’ll be losing a friend – we moved from being walking distance away from my best friend and her two kids whom I used to mind – I still miss them over a year later. And hey, where’s the law that says you have to post every day :-).

  4. Ooooooh Beate, this is so pretty! I love it!
