Today’s challenge over at Krafty Kimmie’s blog  is to create a card with lots of pink and sparkle. I decided to use the new Annette stamp. I stamped her in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and cut her out with Classic Rectangle Nestabilities. Then I colored her with Copic Markers (R20, C00, C1, C3, C5, C7, C9) and airbrushed the top with R20. The rectangle was first layered on a black oval, then on a Basic Grey cardstock piece cut with Label 15 Nestabilities that had been sponged with Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

A 2″ x 5 1/2″ strip of Tim’s Shabby Shic Paper was cut and embossed with Fair Isle Borderabilities and stitched to a 4 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ paper from the same paper pack. White crinkled May Arts ribbon was colored with Copic Marker E50, then taped around the top of the horizontal strip. With the same colored ribbon I tied a bow and topped it with a big clear Rhinestone. More Clear Kaisercraft Rhinestones were added to the top and bottom of the Label piece.

A Recollection rhinestone swirl was added to the top left of the card. A small Prima flower was added to a bigger one and the combo was adhered to the upper left hand side of the image. To add even more sparkle, Stardust Stickles were added over the white dots of the dress and glossy accent over the pearls.

The paper layers were first adhered to a  black 4 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ piece of cardstock, then to a 5″ x 12″ (folded in half) piece of textured gray cardstock.

I hope you have time to play. Pink and sparkly is a fun challenge! Have a great weekend!
