It’s Saturday morning, that means….time to get out Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps and participate in the weekly challenge. This time we were to create a spooky card. I have to confess, that I messed up and created a card for last week challenge (Celebration card), but I think it kind of works for this challenge as well. I got some Halloween colors going and….forgetting a birthday can be kind of scary.

For my card I stamped Red Riding Hood in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on X-Press It Blending Card.  I colored her in Copic Markers( Dress: V12, V15, V17, YG91, YG93, YG95 Cape: BG93, BG96, BG99 Skin: E0000, E00, R20 Shoes, Hair Clips: C5, C7, C9 Hair: YR24, E97, E99 basket: YR24, E97, E99, E39). The cape was textured  with a piece of Natural Linen ribbon. The image was cut and embossed with Circle Nestabilities and airbrushed with Copic Marker YR21. It was layered on an Early Espresso cardstock cut and embossed with Lacey Circle Nestabilities.

For the card I used the Midnight Madness sketch challenge layout for this week. Two 2 1/4″ squares of Mitten Weather Cosmo Cricket Paper were stitched to two pieces of Early Espresso cardstock cut and embossed with Scallop Square Nestabilities.

A 4 3/4″ square of  Mitten Weather paper was stitched to 4 15/16″ square of white cardstock. The two smaller squares were adhered to the top right and bottom left on top of it. The smaller squares were decorated with Bronze Kaisercraft Rhinestones.

The sentiment comes with the Red Ridinghood image. It was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Xpress-it cardstock. It was cut and embossed with Petite Oval Nestabilities and airbrushed with Copic Marker YG91. More white cardstock was cut and embossed with Heart Nestabilities and colored with V15 and V17 as well and airbrushed with YR21.

Wish me luck tomorrow for my classes.
Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs and smiles
